Easy check in online room really good comfortable bed tea and coffee making facilities plus added bonus of biscuits
Breakfast had plenty of choices from continental to full English. Good choice of milk e.g soya,almond, semi skimmed
This was my 1st stay at this particular hotel franchise, so I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of checking-in and check out, the facilities within the hotel and especially the room. The bed, pillows, shower over bath, iron, ironing board, a full length mirror were excellent and the lighting in the room is fine. The options for early check-in and late check-out for a fee is one for me. As well as complimentary two glass bottles water and free biscuits was great. Also included 2x coffee vouchers and 15% discount for food was very welcome.
The quality and thickness of the toilet paper is disappointing, and the lighting if you were doing your make-up in the bathroom is inadequate, doing it outside in the main bedroom is only adequate with natural light otherwise its not great. I was allocated a room on 11th floor and having a room next to three lifts, to my surprised I didn't find noisy at all.
Great location and friendly staff
Bar food wasn’t great apart from the pizza which was nice. Sandwiches were pretty bad - soggy bread and miserable fillings.
The room was very comfortable.
The staff was rather slow to bring the requested bath towels.
The location of this hotel is spot on! We were planning to be in the city centre which is conveniently just outside, everywhere we planned to go was easy to access via a short walk. Plus, we travelled by train so being near the station was ideal. After checking out they offered luggage storage which allowed us to explore more of Nottingham. Being just a few steps from the station was also handy when we needed to catch our last train.
My one-night stay was great here. The hotel had air con (we stayed in the middle of a heat wave period) so we found having access to air con very convenient, a comfy bed, all interior rooms were spot clean, also communal areas. At reception there was cold free juice which we appreciated. No complaints. The only suggestion is to update the TVs and furniture; they’re a bit outdated but nothing too bad.
