Decent night's sleep in central Manchester
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.It was in a quiet area as requested beforehand. We slept well.
The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent.
The receptionist was friendly and efficient.

Cons:

Buffet breakfast was average. The fruit bowls were not replenished fast enough for the late comers , same for the natural yoghurt. The eggs, bacon and sausages were ok.
Coffee from the machine was average.

Zentrale Lage, hilfsbereite Hotelmanager, gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, wurde aber am 2. Tag inkl. Filter repariert. Die Klimaanlage läuft 24 Std., sonst ist es zu stickig in dem Raum. Das Zimmer wurde in den 6 Tagen nur am vorletzten Tag auf Nachfrage gereinigt, ansonsten fast „vergessen“. Es lag direkt neben dem Materialraum des Housekeepings und die Tür knallte somit permanent, was sehr laut und unangenehm war. Wir sind mit unserem Hund gereist, aber im Zimmer gab es in dieser Hinsicht keinerlei Aufmerksamkeiten (Napf o.ä.).

Cons:

I was travelling with my family and we have booked 3 rooms. My parents room was stinking as if some rat had died there and left to rot for days. My room air conditioner was not working. We complained the manager about it and asked to change our rooms to which they said they can't do anything about it since there were no rooms available. If this was the case they should've not put those rooms up for accommodation. There was absolutely no way I was leaving my parents in that room especially when my mother has asthma so we asked for refund. Thankfully the manager was cooperative enough to give our refund. We had to find another hotel at that very instant but due to all this fiasco we missed the football match the whole reason for which we were in Manchester. Not recommending this hotel to anyone.

Pros:

Incredibly central location, less than 10 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. And therefore right in the centre of Manchester.

The breakfast was exceptional and the choices were great especially for Vegans, which is rare.

Room was very comfortable, spacious and well soundproofed - considering how close it is to the pubs and bars of Manchester and the Gay Village.

Offered a late checkout at no extra charge too.
