Pros:

The location is good and the pool is nice. The place was clean.

Cons:

There isn't a single water fountain in the entire hotel. We stayed in 35-40 C. The mini frig has no freezer.
There is no espresso machine in the room. Not even a tea kettle.
The parking costs 10 euros a day, the problem is that it is always full.
The breakfast is a letdown.
The sunbeds and umbrellas on their private beach cost money even for hotel guests, as do the beach towels.
It's disappointing that as a hotel guest, everything costs you extra.

I would not return as better options are available.
Pros:

Breakfast fairly ok considering local standards. Same selection every morning, poor selection of fruit.

The premises are well maintained.

Cons:

They claim to be a 4-star hotel, but in reality is closer to 2-star in my opinion. No modern compressor refridgerators let alone a freezing compartment! Only an ancient Peltier-element based cooling device, which is far too inefficient in cooling pretty much any kind of bottle or snack. So only warm beverages available in practice, it's also impossible to keep any snacks that require low temps. No complimentary water available! They sell water at 3,5 euros for a 0,5 liter bottle. Hotel does have a private section of beach, but do not offer complimentary umbrellas & sunbeds, but charge 20 euros for a set - unbelievable. Beach is not a nice sandy or pebble beach, but rather unappealing grey gravel and not a tempting place to spend time. Parking is not free but no parking space is guaranteed even though You've paid for it. On several occations the small parking lot was full of vehicles, parked whereever they would fit , although parking was paid for. The parking lot is behind two consecutive gates, that makes no sense at all. You need to call reception every time when entering or leaving the hotel, no codes available for opening the gates. Pool area nice but pool extremely small and full of people and not peaceful at all. Room shower probably the smallest I've ever seen, it's really difficult to fit in there and wash yourself, absolutely no room to raise your arms or wash your feet. Rooms had no amenities, not even an electric kettle or any kind of glasses or such. Location was far from ideal as there's not much around but rather poorly maintained local inhabitation. Nothing within walking distance, really.

I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of better options available.

Good hotel with pool in nice location
Pros:

Nice facilities, lovely pool area, good food and mostly friendly staff.
Very good massages and nice spa area. Ask for Alessia.

Cons:

Breakfast offer - hot options are lacking, tasteless scrambled eggs everyday should offer fried eggs, omelette, pancakes. Coffee had to be ordered from the bar as the ma gone one was not nice.
Water - hotel doesn’t offer complimentary water in the room and doesn’t explain whether tap water is drinkable or not.
Staff - mostly pleasant a couple a bit unfriendly to non Italian speakers. Unpleasant encounter at check out due to mix up of check out dates booked. The staff were very rude.
Dinner- no alfresco restaurant except pizzeria at lunchtime and on weekends in the summer.

Superb beach with good enough accomodation
Pros:

We liked the location mostly because of the short walk to the beach and the beach and sea itself. Even though the sunbeds are 20 eur per day per 2, the small-pebble beach was clean and vast and comfortable and the sea was really beautiful. Also the "Navi Bistro" next door which is like a chiringuito was great for brunch and lunch. We had a seaview room with a balcony and the view of Etna was on the right and the Mediterranean directly in front of us. The positioning of the A/C in the room was great, not directly hitting you when you're in bed.

Cons:

I think these are not deal breakers but things that made the stay less comfortable:
- The shower in our room was extremely small with only the shower head which cannot be flexed much.
- Breakfast was not impressive in our opinion. Food quality can be improved and variety can be expanded with more fresh options.
- No trash bin in the room but the bathroom.
- Water in the room not being free of charge.
- The need to ring the reception by getting our of the car every time we go through each of the 2 garage doors was a bit ridiculous. I think this should be improved :)
