Pros:

La ubicacion y atencion, el personal es muy amable.

Cons:

cuando se hace el late checkin deberian dar el numero de contacto a traves de booking para no esperar en la noche con frio o lluvia fuera del hotel, ya que es un edificio con distintos mensajes para distintas oficinas. Por otro lado la television no funcionaba.

Die Matratze war total ausgelegen. Der fehlende Fahrstuhl sollte in der Anzeige mehr hervorgehoben werden.

Just fine, inexpensive old fashioned hotel, difficult check-in.
Pros:

A very old fashioned budget hotel, in a beautiful older building, sufficiently recently updated to be comfortable for current exepectations. Conveniently located to the Savignyplatz U-Bahn station, and reasonable walking distance from the Kaiser Wilhelm church and other sites/shopping around the Zoo U-Bahn stop. Lots of restaurants close by, and some very expensive shopping options.

Cons:

On arrival, I was unable to enter the building, even though I communicated with the hotel about my arrival time. I was hoping for an early check in, or to at least be able to leave my bags (which the hotel suggested I do). Calling the phone number suggested on the buzzer, I was sent directly to voice mail. so I had to wait on the street for 45+ minutes before someone arrived to let me in.

When I finally was let in, the staffer decided to argue with me about my expectation that I should be at least allowed to enter the building and leave my bags *at the time they invited me to* in our communications. He did check me into my room a little early, which was the more convenient option for him-- when I visited there appeared to be no other guests, we were not waiting for my room to be serviced,

The desk was never staffed. The place appeared to be well set up for serving breakfast, but it was never offered when I was there. This was never a problem for me, I never needed anything.

Important to note that there is no elevator-- the hotel is up a rather long staircase on the first floor.

Trotz kaputter Sachen, für eine Nacht ok
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage Nähe Kudamm und S-Bahn Savignyplatz. Schönes altes Gebäude. Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich. Es war sauber.

Cons:

Sehr weiches/durchgelegenes Bett. Hellhörig. Vorhänge verdunkeln nicht. Es ist früh hell im Zimmer. Toilette hängt schief. Duschtür kaputt, lässt sich schwer schließen. Duschkopf total verkalkt, somit spritzt das Wasser unkontrolliert überall hin. Könnte man leicht lösen, indem man den Duschkopf einfach entkalkt oder günstig einen neuen kauft. Ist aber anscheinend zu schwer. Da nimmt man lieber eine schlechte Bewertung in Kauf. Allgemein ist alles alt und lieblos. Müsste dringend renoviert werden. Muss ja nicht alles super teuer sein, aber funktionierende Sachen wären schon schön.
