Dit is een 3 sterren hotel
Pros:

Ligging en uitzicht zijn voortreffelijk.

Cons:

Je kan het bijna niet geloven maar we hebben een boete gekregen op het privéterrein van het hotel tijdens het uitladen van de koffers. De dame aan de balie had letterlijk gezegd dat het geen probleem was voor 30min maar daarna moesten we de wagen wel verplaatsen naar de garage. Met enige schaamte werd ons beloofd dat we de boete mochten verweren door een mailtje te sturen naar de parkeerfirma met het hotel in CC en dat zij de rest gingen regelen. Niet dus! Boete moeten betalen en hotel komt haar afspraak niet na. En dat voor een 5 sterren-hotel....Zelfs de 29,9 euro boete wilden ze achteraf niet terugbetalen...
Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid maar het vriendelijke personeel werkt blijkbaar alleen s'avonds...jammer
We keken er nochtans echt naar uit maar dit hotel was een teleurstelling.

Prachtige locatie, heerlijk ontbijt, rustige omgeving en mooie suite met uitzicht over de Rijn. Vriendelijk personeel. Fijne spa en sauna faciliteiten, zeker een aanrader. Massage was ook erg goed.

Cons:

Douche water duurt lang voordat het warm is, en raar tikkend geluid in de nacht door de wind was het slapen wat lastiger. Het pand is natuurlijk ook oud, maar goed gerenoveerd. Pasjes waren ook geblokkeerd voor het uitchecken, dat was jammer. Ondanks de stevige prijs, niet 100% perfecte beleving. Betalen voor een extra grote kamer is eigenlijk niet nodig, je krijgt er weinig extra’s voor in service. Minibar moet je bijvoorbeeld nog steeds voor betalen..

Pros:

Frühstück: uns fehlte Vollkornbrot, frische aufgeschnittene Tomaten, Thunfisch, Kräuterquark ….
Lage: besser geht nicht, volle Punktzahl
Essen: sehr gut, absolut top. Ob im Restaurant oder im Bistro. Der Kuchen im Bistro ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau und darf man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen, einfach unglaublich leeeeecker !
Zimmer: wir hatten ein Grand Deluxe Zimmer mit Rheinblick. Bad mit Fenster von wo man sogar den phänomenalen Ausblick beim duschen genießen kann. Besonders hervorzuheben die Betten, bzw. die Matratzen, absolut top. Auch die Decken und Kissen.
Personal: freundlich und hilfsbereit, hier wäre der Bagagist besonders zu erwähnen. Er arbeitet bereits seit 22 Jahren im Grandhotel Petersberg. Ein sehr aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter. An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank

Dieses Hotel hat seine 5 Sterne absolut verdient.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und sagen, bis zum nächsten Mal

Tolles Paar-Wochenende - super schöne Umgebung, sehr schönes Ziel

Jetzt wirklich auf Niveau von 5* - war viele Jahre nicht da, habe es zum ersten Mal nach Renovierung besucht. Zimmer sehr schön, Inneneinrichtung als Mischung aus Kunst und alter BRD gut gelungen, Essen in Restaurants besser als auf Basis von Online-Bewertungen zu erwarten gewesen wäre, Wellness-Bereich gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Die Parksituation: Enge Garage, vor der Tür aber sehr viele öffentliche Parkplätze. Die muss man aber BAR (Münzen) mit einer Stechuhr bezahlen. Da sollte es doch der Steigenberger-Gruppe möglich sein, eine vernünftige Lösung mit der Stadt zu finden, um Gästen das Parken so einfach wie möglich zu machen.

Om van de hotelkamer naar de restaurants te komen moest je via een lange, niet sfeervolle gang langs allemaal vergaderzalen.
