We had a really great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The food was also delicious, with a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel itself was beautiful and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Riadh Palms Resort & Spa. The hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach, with beautiful sea views and a great atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, and we especially enjoyed the pool, beach and entertainment.

Our room was comfortable and clean, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. A special thank you to all the staff for making our holiday relaxing and memorable.

Poor customer service from the start. The reception staff were grumpy and were not willing to listen. Kept us waiting to check in and even then we did not get what we wanted as a family. The hotel rooms were in poor state as well as some parts of the hotel. We had 7 rooms and not all ac were working. There were no instruction how to operate the safe or how to use the telephone. The lifts were old and did not cope well with number of guests in the hotel. There was no kettle for tea in the rooms which is pretty basic wherever you go. The only positive is the food which was very good and fresh.

Firstly walked got into hotel to check in and was told the room you have booked is not avaliable till the morning. So was given no option but to be put in a room which was dirty and air-conditioning was just about working. We then came down in morning and was told to wait for 4 hours until the room is ready this is 1030am we had to wait to get till 2 to get our room and settle in. We then got to out room and it was dirty bed sheets has very bad stains on them and there was a bunch on hair in corner looked like it wasant even cleaned. The phone in room wasant working so had to go back down to tell them to clean. The staff at the reception are rude and very disrespectful they don't care about u as there was another 2 3 family complaining about diffrent issues. I would recommend anyone who is going pay alittle extra and get a better hotel. The staff will not help u they won't even smile at you they are so rude and will not help you whats so ever.

big queues at the restaurant and bar. food and drinks cheap and poor quality. sunbeds can be obtained if you come at 6 am. glasses at the beach bar and by the pool are not washed.

Really clean, the entertainment is really good, there is a good range of foods, it is on the beach which is nice and there is nothing bad about my stay at this hotel and did I is the best because every day smile and friendly

The first thing I have to mention is the incredible animation team. They truly make this hotel come alive and create an amazing atmosphere every single day. Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It really adds something special to the whole holiday experience.

I was a bit worried after reading all the negative reviews about this hotel, but after spending a week here, I can honestly say our experience has been fantastic.

The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The food has been very good throughout our stay. My only advice is to arrive on time for the buffet rather than waiting until the very end, as you’ll have the best selection that way. The longer you wait the less to choose. That way everything stays fresch.

The rooms are fine and are cleaned every day. The only minor downside is that the bathrooms are outdated, but they are clean and fully functional. For us, this certainly didn’t affect our holiday.

As for the comments saying the people here are unfriendly, that has been the complete opposite of our experience. Everyone we have met has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable.

Overall, we’ve had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. Don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off—come with an open mind and enjoy your stay!

Animators are great they are very nize,smile and kind and very profesional but the rest emploirers are not so kind. Location is good.atmosphere is good ,good vibes with animators.romms are big but not so clean,.

Animation is good. Rooms are okay but them are not clean. Employes can be rude, but animators are execelent.

Terrible experience at Riadh Palm Hotel
This hotel is in a very poor condition and feels more like a ruin than a proper holiday hotel. The bed sheets were dirty, the room was noisy because of the street, and the air conditioning did not work properly. The staff were not friendly or helpful.
I would not recommend this hotel. It needs a serious renovation and better customer service.

Riadh Palms Resort & Spa, Sousse, Tunisia

This hotel completely ruined our only family holiday of the year and was, without question, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

The Room

Our room was dirty, dated and poorly maintained, with broken tiles, damaged shower fittings, stained furniture and stained bed linen. A broken floor tile with sharp edges remained unrepaired throughout our stay despite being reported on day one.

The shower head had been removed and left in the sink on arrival. It wasn’t replaced until the following day, and only after I confronted Guest Relations. The “double bed” was simply two single beds pushed together, with ill-fitting bedding that came off every night.

Maintenance entered our room without warning while we were out to dismantle the luggage stand, despite us never reporting a fault. No apology was offered. There were also stained tables and chairs, an unreliable hairdryer, inconsistent toilet paper replenishment and no complimentary toiletries. The only soap was a foul-smelling liquid dispenser in the shower that appeared diluted, with no hand soap by the sink.

Health & Safety

A leaking ceiling in the corridor outside our room created a serious slipping hazard. My daughter and I both nearly slipped on pooled water. Housekeeping placed mops underneath but displayed no warning signs.

Despite reporting it, no meaningful action was taken until a large section of the ceiling collapsed on day three. Although patched, it continued leaking for the remainder of our stay. The lack of urgency and failure to make the area safe showed an unacceptable disregard for guest safety.

Food & Service

The all-inclusive experience was chaotic. Food was repetitive, bland and often overcooked, with the same ingredients recycled daily. Every meal involved queues of 15–20 minutes for freshly cooked items, making dining stressful. Eventually, my son refused to eat because he was so fed up with queuing.

Hydration /Drinks
In temperatures of 36–38°C, bars frequently ran out of ice and appeared to ration drinks and bottled water. My husband was even told off for helping himself to a drink after we’d waited so long for service.

Many staff were rude and unhelpful, and Guest Relations dismissed our concerns rather than resolving them. Both à la carte restaurants were disappointing, with poor food, painfully slow service and lengthy waits for drinks, resulting in us walking out before finishing our meals.

Cash Only

Guests were expected to pay tourist tax, spa charges and shop purchases in Tunisian dinars and cash only, despite businesses outside the hotel accepting cards.

The Final Straw

At 5:15 a.m. on departure day I became trapped in one of the hotel lifts. It appeared to have broken down before and should have been out of service. Staff only acted after my husband made a considerable fuss. As someone with claustrophobia, the experience was terrifying and a dreadful end to an already ruined holiday.

Overall

Poor maintenance, serious health and safety failures, unhygienic food practices, rude customer service, overcrowding and constant queues completely overshadowed what should have been our annual family holiday.

I would not recommend Riadh Palms to anyone. Given our experience, I believe Plan My Tour should review whether this hotel continues to meet the standards expected of its customers and whether it should remain part of its recommended holiday portfolio.

The hotel is quite good for the price. The service deserves special mention. The hotel offers excellent cuisine, with a wide variety of delicious food always available. There is an entertainment team, and a huge selection of drinks. I would particularly like to highlight the waiter Khamis T.; he is always smiling and helpful, and he refills your drink before you’ve even finished the last one. I really want to commend his professionalism and hope that management reads these reviews and rewards him for his efforts.
