Riadh Palms Resort & Spa

This was not our usual destination and I can safely say we will never be back . This whole experience was awful . Just to be clear , we always stay AI so we fully understand that all inclusive food can be a hit or a miss but the food here is terrible with no variety . Our room was barely cleaned , we had to ask at reception for clean towels as we never had any put in our room , our bedding hasn’t been changed all week . There is a dose of stomach issues going round the place but and there isn’t any soap in any of the dispensers so nobody can wash their hands properly . The male workers in the animation team are all over the young women and girls and it’s really uncomfortable to watch . We really feel like our annual holiday has been stolen from us and we won’t be returning or recommending this place

Location brilliant, staff good, rooms untidy, bathroom/ shower water leaking, toilet not flushing & ac not working 😕 to top it off only 1 room key reception system down

recently stayed here and had a mixed experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely funny. They made the stay enjoyable and always had a smile on their faces. Their positive attitude and great customer service were definitely the highlight of my visit. Food wasn’t amazing had to go out to eat most nights.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. While at the bar, I noticed that glasses did not appear to be properly washed between customers. Instead of being thoroughly cleaned, they seemed to be quickly rinsed with water and reused for serving drinks to other guests,

Shortly after my stay, I became ill with stomach-related symptoms, which has raised serious concerns for me about the hygiene standards at the hotel. While I cannot say for certain what caused my illness, the practices I observed at the bar left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about guest safety,

I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its hygiene and sanitation procedures to ensure a safer experience for future guests.

We have just returned from the Riadh Palms Resort & Spa in Sousse. I really cannot believe that anyone can write a bad review about this place...we are pretty fussy with our hotel selections and this really is an amazing place!! Yes, parts are a little tired but the food choices, cleanliness, beautiful beach and amazing swimming pool cannot be faulted at all, as well as the amazing staff.
Whilst talking about the pool...I had the misfortune of slipping whilst getting out of the pool, fell back and cracked my skull open! Was totally out of it for a while but the hotel staff ( and many guests) were amazing. Went to hospital for scans, tests and 7 stitches. All the hotel staff were so helpful but the one who was absolutely amazing was the Manager - Safira...she came with us to hospital and stayed during all my time there, helping with translations and procedures. She really deserves a special award!!
Back to the hotel - you cannot fault the choices of food, both in the main dining room and snack huts scattered around the grounds. If you arrive late there is a 24 resturant which does good snacks. One thing to bear in mind which we were not made aware of either by our On the Beach operator or hotel reception on arrival- there is an A la Carte restaurant which you can book once during your stay. We didnt find out about this until our final day and were not able to book it so book early.
Outside the hotel there are about 10 shops which are all very reasonable and sell all the usual clothing, bags, drinks, jewellery etc at prices the same as the market. The market ( Modena) is a pleasant 15 minute walk along seafront although there are very few bars or cafes to pop in for a drink on the way. The Modena is open daytime hours only and is a maze of narrow streets selling everything you can imagine. Lots of bartering and pushy pushy but that is their livlihood and they are only trying to make a living, all part of the fun!
So- in summary, if you are thinking that the price of this hotel and any poor reviews reflect its standard, you will be very wrong!! We rate the food as some of the best choices we have experienced and beachside location brilliant! Above all- the staff are amazing and well worth a few quid in tips every day ( they will still take English pound coins) for all their hard work.

This hotel is the worst I stayed no air conditioning when questioned was told the 16 th will be switched on,disgusting but even worse was when in the pool someone decided to leave excretes in there I know because it was me who was unfortunate to put my foot in it. The pool attendant just put chemicals in it not close it,disgusting I will never ever go back to this dump

Overall it was okay experience. Location is absolutely beautiful with beach view, food was good, service in main restaurant was ridiculous, they were very moody.
First day there, our bathroom light wasn't working, told them few times, someone came to have a look and said will sort it out which they didnt so we didnt have light in our bathroom.
We were in family area which was very outdated, their bathroom absolutely stinks! Due to not having any fans in bathroom, toilet was dirty, preferred using downstairs toilet rather than our own rooms.
Restaurant staff were quite rude, they all expected a tip for a smile, except for one staff member he would play little tricks (forget to get his name)
Hated their service of them bringing drinks to our table we can get our own food why weren't we allowed to bring our own drinks to our tables ?
Shops around the hotel didnt have much and staff there were too snobby.
Kids play area was all broken, slides were damaged.
Last but not least THERE IS NO ICECREAM !! They only served ice cream during dinner that too not every day !

Hotel itself is ok, rooms are ok need a little updating and very warm we asked to be moved to lower floor and on other side of building even offering to pay and rude reception women just kept saying no to us not even trying to help with two babies struggling with the heat as no air con until 15th June. The breakfast is not good at all unless you like crepes, crossaints or doughnuts. The restaurant was far too busy and very overwhelming for the children. No children options at all and no spoons anywhere the waiting staff were lovely but the cooks were rude. The lifts let the hotel down as we sometimes had to wait 20 mins to even go down to entertainment we even carried the pram several times down the marble staircase. The pool is good and clean and plenty sunbeds. Snack bars during the day are really good we ate there instead of the restaurant. The beach was dirty. They dont do ice cream or lollies during The day for the children so we had to buy at yhe shops. The best thing about this hotel is the entertainment staff they are amazing and keeping this hotel going. The street noise is ridiculous on a night until 4.30am every night so get sea view rooms. If u dont like smoke everywhere avoid this hotel as smoking is everywhere even in reception. The kids club floors and tables were filthy. Our room wasn't swept or mopped once the whole stay and bedding wasn't changed when we put the yellow card on but they removed the sheet and didn't bring it back along with no towels one day and our other rolm had no pillow cases. We will not be going back as there was too many little issues.

Disgusting hotel. Don’t fall for the pictures or any good reviews. This place is a trap, staff is incredibly rude and useless. Food is inedible . Beach is dirty, I’m sorry I came here / it’s a terrible disgusting place and no management takes any responsibility

Arrived on 14th may for 10 days, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the most amazing staff, very kind and very helpful, I genuinely had the best holiday, and I don’t have any bad words to say, I would highly recommend visiting, i will be returning in October, I would like to thank all staff, the whole animation team are amazing, especially LouLou, Maya, Max and Bomba,

Beautiful hotel entertainment is very good and staff are all very lovely and welcoming especially bomba and max!! the bar is beautiful would definitely recommend this hotel to people and definitely come back overall an amazing and delightful experience

Riadh Palms was an ideal location for walking to the promenade or shops in the evening.THere are a few stars that work there mainly the Night Manager Mr Moez who was extremely helpful,polite and knowledgeable and solved our problem very quickly.The restaurant staff are excellent they have such a hard job.
Unfortunately the reception staff leave a lot to be desired when it comes to Customer Service I know its not an easy job but politeness and an occasional smile would make their job more bearable for them.Madam Ahlem on reception is very experienced helpful friendly and funny she should be in charge of training the other reception staff.overall we had a good stay atvthe hotel.It is very clean and I would stay again,

Best hotel in susa. Big rooms, good foood. Lot of things to do. Best entertiment team on the world🤘😁 I recomended on 100 % 😃👍😝

We booked here for 10 nights still here till 10 june. Location is a little bit out of the main part of sousse but its about 20 min walk into a busy area. Feel safe within the hotel plenty of security around the outside too.
Plenty of bars and food choices throughout the hotel.. so deffo found something to eat and drink.
The entertainment team are fantastic with activities throughout the day they work hard getting the guests too join in great entertainment for adults and children everyone is welcome to join in..
Bomba and josef are great..
Only fault is the beach has alot of bits in the sand from guests but they do try there best to clean it everyday.
Rooms are basic but very clean and tidy the cleaners have cleaned and changed our towels everyday.. beds made everyday.

The hotel is great with good food and good service. My favorite animator is called Bomba, he is nice, kind and very polite to the guests.
