Manque de professionnalisme de la directrice de l’établissement
Pros:

Ma chambre initiale était dans un étage en plein travaux avec un souci dans l’étroitesse de la chambre et la présence de travaux

Après 1h30 de négociation avec la patronne, elle nous a laissé en plan car absente et n’a pas voulu prendre en compte notre requête. Heureusement que Linda, la femme à la réception a su trouver une solution. La gérante de l’établissement est non professionnelle, manque de CUSTOMER intimacy et d’un manque total de savoir etre. Bravo à Linda ainsi qu’à la gérante de l’édito le bar en face pour leur aide à nous trouver une solution.

Helaas heeft iemand wat in de wc gegooid wat er niet in mocht dus de hele wc is overstroomd en der lag allemaal vies water in de kamer! En ze waren aan het verbouwen dat stond nergens op de site!

Pros:

The staff were great but Linda from Rwanda on reception was especially fantastic. Helpful great communicator. She advised us on things to do. She changed our room without hesitation as we had noisey neighbours. Perfect location. Awesome breakfast.

Refurbishment work was taking place which didn’t disturb us but looked messy - it wasn’t a problem.

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons:

The hotel was under renovation that we were not told about. There was a strong smell of paint in my room from the hallway. There were loose fixtures and fittings in my room. The bath didn't drain. Poor from the hotel.

THERE IS A GROUP OF MEN GOING AROUND REIMS BEATING UP ENGLISH TOURIST. ONE OF OUR GROUP WAS STANDING OUTSIDE THE HOTEL, HE WAS ATTACKED BY A GROUP OF THREE AFTER ASKING IF HE WAS FROM ENGLAND, SUFFERING A BROKEN NOSE" AVOID FRENCH CITIES THEY ARE ALL FULL OF THUGS.

Location was perfect, no better location in Reims. Lucy and Francois were amazing, very polite, always smiling and was able to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Cons:

The property was under immense construction. And our air conditioner was leaking onto the bathroom floor. Sarah, the receptionist who checked us in was rude, combative and uninformative (even when asked) with vital info about our stay - such as our entire floor would be under construction, wifi info, and level our room was. It was an awful check in experience with her - Lucy and Francois made up for this.

Il parcheggio era sotterraneo e non ha permesso l’ingresso del mio Trafic Renault per cui ho dovuto trovare un altro Hotel e pagare anche questo nonostante non abbia potuto accedere.

Well located, but tired and dark inside.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location. Underground parking is a short walk away, which has to be paid for separately. From the door of the hotel you can walk to all of the beautiful sights in Reims. A good find, location wise. Bed was extremely comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were clean. The lady helping at breakfast was charming. I heard some guests struggling because the staff did not speak English.

Cons:

Generally, the hotel was tired and grotty. The public areas are undergoing a refurb with ladders and fixtures strewn about. The whole place is dingy. My room had a view of metal ducting and the sky was just about visible. As I was only there on my own for one night, I didn’t mind, but if this had been a longer stay, it would have been totally unacceptable, especially if there was more than one of us. The breakfast room was cramped and claustrophobic with no natural light.
