Property Description

A 4-star hotel in Heraklion Crete, part of the Castello Hotels Group, standing close by the Venetian walls that encircle the old city. The 68-room hotel, fully renovated in 2017, is open all year and is located at the Chanioporta area, the main entrance to the city's historic centre, with direct access to a taxi station and bus stops.

Pros:

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was absolutely great, very friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated.
However, there were a few things that could be improved. The hotel does not offer parking, and we spent around 30 minutes trying to find a place to park, which was quite frustrating, especially after arriving. The bed was also not very comfortable.
Breakfast was okay, but we would have appreciated a little more variety, especially freshly cooked fried eggs.
Overall, the staff made a great impression, but the parking situation and bed comfort could definitely be improved.

Pros:

Stilvolle Einrichtung.
Restaurant / Frühstücksraum im 5. Stock mit top Aussicht über die Stadt.
Bus, Taxi direkt gegenüber.
Lage direkt beim Chaniátor, trotzdem nachts verhältnismäßig ruhig.
Freundlicher Empfang.

Pros:

Velice pestrá nabídka snídaňového menu. Různé druhy pečiva, sýry, ovoce, zelenina i lokální pokrmy jako místní sýry, domácí pečené dobroty slané i sladké. K pití káva, čaj, ovocné džusy a jako bonus nádherný výhled z terasy. Snídaně s pohledem na starou benátskou zeď, přístav i moře je úžasný start do nového dne.

Cons:

Horší větrání koupelny a především velký hluk z ulice, který naštěstí odstínila kvalitní okna. Bylo možné použít klimatizaci, což je v létě jistě zásadní a nutné.

Perfektes City Hotel
Pros:

Das Zimmer war außerordentlich groß, ebenso der Balkon.
Alles war sauber und funktionsfähig.
Der Ausblick beim Frühstück war fantastisch, ebenso vom Balkon mit Meerblick.
Das Personal war herzlich und freundlich.
Bushaltestellen direkt vor der Tür, auch zum Airport.

Cons:

Es befanden sich leider keine Möbel (mehr) auf dem Balkon, was den Eindruck trübte.
Stühle bekamen wir noch am ersten Abend, einen Tisch erst am zweiten.

Pros:

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, κοντά στο κέντρο του Ηρακλείου, με ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Το πρωινό ήταν ιδιαίτερα καλό, με αρκετές επιλογές και όμορφη θέα από τον τελευταίο όροφο. Γενικά, μια ευχάριστη διαμονή με καλή σχέση ποιότητας και τιμής.

Cons:

Ίσως η ηχομόνωση να μπορούσε να είναι λίγο καλύτερη, κάτι βέβαια αναμενόμενο λόγω της κεντρικής τοποθεσίας. Κατά τα άλλα, δεν υπήρξε κάτι ιδιαίτερο που να επηρέασε αρνητικά τη διαμονή μας.
