Pros:

New, clean hotel, good breakfast, walking distance to city center, good value for downtown Denver.

Room was not in a good condition with missing phone cord, stains on the sofa and desk chair, cord hanging from the curtains across the floor, cabinet doors barely hanging on, and a general run-down feeling. Not a well-maintained property.

I did not know you had to pay to park. I also did not like that you had to park along the street. It worked out for us but it was not expected. We also had to wait to use the elevator when we where trying to leave. They decided to do an elevator check at a busy time in the morning when people are trying to check out and get they day started. We were told to use the stairs, and I can not walk down 4 flights of stairs. I have trouble doing just one and is why i only book where they have an elevator. I feel waiting till later in the day would have been better.

Spacious, clean, bright room. Very accommodating to store our luggage until after the Rockies game as there wasn't an early check in available.

Again, the room was comfortable and located conveniently. Will not be staying there anymore.

The breakfast was good. The coffee was excellent. The location was excellent in relation to my son's apartment.

Cons:

The front desk staff could not really answer my question satisfactorily. I asked about parking, and they seemed to not be forth coming with answers. Also, when I asked why my card had been charged for $250.00, the staff said that they had not charged that. They said I had never given them a credit card to charge. I had given them the card 3 times. I then showed her on my online statement that there were 3 charges from Hampton Inns Denver. One was $150, then $50, and then a 3rd one for $50. She just kept saying that Hampton Inn did not charge me. I then asked who could I talk to so I could rectify this. She said it would have to be my bank since Hampton Inn did not charge me. (Even though I showed her the charges.) It just seemed like she looked at me like I was a stupid old man with no way to resolve the issue. I realize that the hotel will charge $50 per night for incidentals and that will be refunded if not used. But the staff person insisted they had not been given a credit card. Then she found where I had given them the Credit Card with no apology. Additionally, this is the 3rd year my wife and I have stayed here and the second elevator has not been repaired. Why? Very inconvenient especially when there are bus groups staying there.

Zentrales Cityhotel mit ausreichend Platz und gutem Service.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man die Innenstadt nach einem kurzen Fußweg schnell erreichen kann. Auch das Capitol befindet sich in direkter Umgebung. Der Frühstücksbereich war einladend und typisch amerikanisch. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Der Parkplatz neben dem Hotel kostet die Hälfte und bietet ausreichend Platz.
