Overall we had a good week, its a shame we had a few issues which let the hotel down. The rooms are dated, the air con cannot keep up with the demand. Ours actually broke for a day and a night which made sleeping awful. Even before it broke its is at its lowest it can be, the same as in the restaurant and the reception area. When I complained to the Jet 2 rep she said the air con cannot be put higher due to the environmental compliance law in spain. The next day they obviously tried to higher it and there were puddles in reception from where it was leaking.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and a very good variety, the snack bar was really good too.
The pool was a lovely warm temperature but unfortunately 6 days out of the 7, it had a scum like substance floating on top of the pool, the lifeguard was constantly scooping it up with a bucket.
The entertainment was very good with a variety of different shows. The drinks were really good to.
Our room was cleaned daily to a good standard with fresh towels every day and our beds were also changed halfway during the week.
We did complain about our loose toilet seat and the shower screen had no seal on it so the water leaked everywhere. But after complaining to the rep they were fixed straight away.
You can see the hotel is trying hard to fix these issues but unfortunately for what we paid, I don't feel it was worth it.
The beach is right next to the hotel and it lovely. This hotel could easily be a 4 star if it fixed the issues mentioned.

Location

Melina was absolutely lovely, she came around and gave us cava by the pool. Very friendly and spoke our language perfectly.

I recently stayed at Fergus Bahama and overall I had a good holiday, but there are definitely some things that need improving.

I would give the hotel’s decoration 3 stars. It looks a bit dated and could really do with a refresh. The rooms weren’t clean enough and the bathrooms were alright , although ours broke down twice during our stay.

The biggest disappointment was the bed. It was honestly the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. It didn’t feel like a hotel mattress at all. I already suffer from chronic back problems, and every morning I woke up with terrible back pain. I really think replacing the mattresses and even base should be one of the hotel’s top priorities.

The air conditioning was also very old and struggled to keep the room cool. The hairdryer was outdated too and took forever to dry my hair.

Now for the positives. I took the All inclusive package, although it is only one restaurant in the hotel not enough variation the buffet wasn’t too bad. The food was surprisingly good. I honestly enjoyed every soup they served, especially the one at Thursday lunch. It was absolutely delicious!! The fresh cheese was soooo lovely the fruit was full of flavour, and I also really enjoyed the chicken croquettes, the fried sausages with potatoes, and many other dishes. Every morning I looked forward to the peach juice. It was so good!

The staff were one of the best parts of the hotel. Everyone at the bar was incredibly friendly, especially Gloria. She is such a cheerful, kind woman and you can tell she genuinely loves her job. The young bartenders working in the afternoons at the pool bar were also fantastic. I can’t remember their names, but they were always smiling and happy to help. The lifeguard also deserves a special mention. He was professional, attentive and did an excellent job.

The location is excellent. You literally step outside and you’re right by the beach, the view was beautiful which is perfect. And also close to shops? Takeaways, the hippie market, discotheques, the harbour (port)

My suggestions for the hotel would be:

* Replace the whole beds including mattresses because they are far below hotel standard.
* Update the old hairdryers.
* Improve the air conditioning.
* Provide irons in the rooms, or at least have enough available. Charging €20 to borrow an iron is already disappointing, but having only six irons for a fully booked hotel in the middle of summer is simply not enough.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay thanks to the amazing staff, the great food and the fantastic location. With a few important improvements, especially the beds, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

Super Lage und freundliches Personal. Das Frühstücksangebot war gut und abwechslungsreich. Besonders positiv fanden wir die kostenlosen Parkplätze im Außenbereich. Das freundliche Personal hat uns diese empfohlen, sodass wir nicht jeden Tag 20 € für den Parkplatz in der Garage bezahlen mussten. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
