We had the best time lovely staff think her name was medina best pool bar staff good drink cava was fab the food was really best omelets staff lovely kids love snack bar really clean easy to get to Ushuaia to see Calvin Harris 10/10
It was close to Ushuaïa & hi. Great access to the beach. Breakfast was decent and the size of the room was decent too.
A lot!! It smelt terrible in the rooms, like mould!! With beach access & being on ground floor, there's always sand. 3 days & no one came to clean our room at all!! I would have cleaned the sand myself but there was nothing to clean it with. The staff were rude all the time! Didn't matter if it was reception or the bar, service here sucked!!
Only good thing is the location, very close to beach and close to Ushuaia and HI.
AC not working! Very hot in the rooms and all things are slightly damp from humidity. Bathroom very old, broken tiles, water dripping from ceiling. Horrible hotel, not even close to 4 stars.
The staff were very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Checking out we had full use of facilities for the rest of the day including a shower room. Towels and a key to use the beach were also provided which made our last day still part of the holiday.
The room was grately over priced and felt clostophobic. The bathroom had no privacy from the bedroom, the air conditioning hardly worked and we were sweating all night. The fridge didn't work and in temperatures above 30°C which added to the uncomfortable night we stayed there.
Front desk was very kind and helpful
Just returned from a week at Fergus Style Bahamas, and unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. I would not rate it as 4 star in terms of the standard of accommodation. On arrival the lobby and reception area are very modern and clean, good first impression, but this does not reflect the standard of the rooms. There are vending machines which are quite handy.
Staff - very friendly and helpful, always with a smile, they made the hotel a little more bearable.
Check-in - Luckily we were first in the queue but it does take a really long time.
Room - We had a superior double with terrace and whirlpool. The terrace was covered in bird poo. The room was very basic, no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. The bed was not made up for our daughter so we had to ask reception and this was dealt with very quickly, however they only gave her a sheet and a pillow, no duvet. The air con was brilliant. The bathroom was awful, mould all over the ceiling, cracked tiles on the floor, stained yellow toilet seat, rotten door surround, no extractor fan. The only good thing was the nice hot powerful shower. We had a fridge and coffee making facilities. Room cleaned once during the week but fresh towels and toilet roll every day. They provide handwash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Ladies the conditioner is awful but the shampoo actually really good. The cleaners were lovely and very friendly.
Pool - the pool water is very murky and my daughter said it was misty when she was swimming under the water with googles. On 3 occasions lifeguards were scooping out white foamy sludge from the edge of the pool, it was really awful, I couldnt bring myself to go in and my daughter never went back in. She ended up with a throat infection and inflamed ear which we needed to go to hospital for in Ibiza Town, and I wonder if this was due to the dirty water. Bali beds available for $50 euros minimum but you can always get a sunbed. Pool towels are $10 euros deposit each on arrival, you can change them when you want and you get your deposit back when you leave. Music was played at the pool, sometimes an actual DJ, and once there was a singer - pool is quite lively an fun - shame about the water in the actual pool!
Bus stop outside hotel $1.90 euro takes you right to Ibiza old town, this was really handy.
Bars/Restaurants - The food is actually pretty good, a decent selection and something for everyone, staff in the restaurant were very friendly, it was always easy to get a table. Pizza and pasta every day, fish, chicken, rice dishes, veg dishes etc all really nice. Breakfasts were actually really good too. The lunchtime snackbar is pretty poor, unless you want a make it yourself toastie, the burgers, hotdogs etc are very poor quality and the chips were soggy, so we never returned after our visit on day 1. There are birds everywhere so you cant leave your plate for a second or they fly onto your plate. You can get little icecream pots and biscuits for the kids. The all inclusive drinks were basic but actually ok, San Miguel, Cava, sangria and local spirits. Cocktails are pre-made and pretty much just like tropical juice. You can pay for drinks at the lounge bar. BRING A REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE they dont give out bottles of water which for all inclusive I find very bad. We had to buy bottles of water at the shop and then refill them from the water machine. Better for the environment I guess.
Beach - you an access the gate to the beach with your room key. Beach is lovely, water is so clear. You have to pay for beach beds thought which again is ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. it was $15 euros each for a sunbed an another $15 euros for a parasol. Very expensive. 'The Beachhouse' bar is right in front of the hotel on the beach but this is not connected to the hotel and its very expensive, $30 euros for pasta dish!
I wish I could give a better review as the staff were so nice but the accommodation really lets this place down. The hotel is a great location for Ushuaia, Hi and a lot of beach bars/clubs nearby. Literally 10 mins from the Airport, which means a lot of aircraft noise but that didnt bother me.
