Divan Hotel İstanbul'daki konaklamam sırasında yaşadığım bir olaydan dolayı hayal kırıklığına uğradım.

Aracımı teslim almak istediğimde vale tarafından verilen küçük fişi odamda unuttuğumu fark ettim. Güvenlik görevlisi benden oda numaramı ve ismimi istedi, bunu anlayışla karşıladım. Ardından resepsiyona yönlendirildim ve bazı evrakları imzalamam istendi, buna da itiraz etmedim.

Ancak otel müdürünün yaklaşımı son derece rahatsız ediciydi. Kimliğimi talep etme şekli ve tavırları, bir misafirden ziyade sorgulanan bir kişi gibi hissetmeme neden oldu. Güvenlik prosedürleri elbette uygulanmalıdır, fakat bunu yaparken misafire karşı saygılı ve açıklayıcı bir üslup kullanılması gerekir.

Ne bir teşekkür, ne de "kusura bakmayın, prosedür gereği kimlik kontrolü yapmak zorundayız" gibi bir açıklama yapıldı. Aksine, oldukça soğuk ve ilgisiz bir tavırla karşılaştım. Beş yıldızlı bir otelden beklediğim şey sadece hizmet kalitesi değil, aynı zamanda misafire gösterilen saygı ve profesyonelliktir.

Maalesef bu deneyim, otel hakkındaki genel izlenimimi olumsuz yönde etkiledi.
