Disappointing Breakfast Experience
Pros:

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Panoramic in Montecatini Terme, Italy, as part of an organized tour from June 11 to June 17, 2026. The hotel is presented as a 4-star hotel.

The hotel has a small but nice swimming pool and plenty of greenery around it, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. However, some of the rooms need a maintenance refresh and better upkeep.

The most disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast. Although breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 or 10:00 a.m., by around 8:00 a.m. there was hardly any food left. This can be seen in the photo taken on June 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., about one hour after breakfast started.

The tables were dirty, with food leftovers, used plates, and dirty glasses that no one cleared. Every time I needed basic items such as a knife, fork, cheese, or an omelet, I had to look for a waiter and ask for them.

Anyone who wants to have a reasonable breakfast and eat at a clean table should wake up early and arrive at the dining room around 7:00 a.m.

Comodo ma crea troppa aspettativa

La vicinanza al centro, la colazione

La camera, nello specifico il bagno non era molto pulito. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio degli asciugamani in quanto sporchi, il doccino presente nella doccia erogava acqua in maniera strana per la forte presenza di calcare. La nostra scelta è ricaduta su questo hotel in quanto dichiarava la presenza di una spa con accesso a pagamento. Una volta chieste informazioni ci hanno detto che la piscina presente era aperta a tutti gli ospiti dell’hotel e che la spa era composta da una vasca (molto piccola) e da un bagno turco al costo forfettario di 25 euro per tutto il soggiorno. Una volta capito di cosa si trattava abbiamo deciso di non usufruire della spa e di andare in un altro centro benessere in zona.

Ottima colazione! Complimenti a Giovanni per le fantastiche omelette

Cons:

Ci è piaciuto tutto.
Migliorerei solo la parte della piscina:
1-sostituendo l’erba sintetica e
2-mettendo un pannello insonorizzante per sentire meno le macchine che passano e rovinano un po’ il relax.
Ma questi sono consigli non critiche.
Il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto

Hotel nel verde

Posizione ottima, nel verde! Di fronte c'è un grande parcheggio x auto gratuito molto comodo. La zona colazione è molto rilassante e affaccia sulla veranda dove ci sono piante, divani... e dietro la vetrata si vede la piscina,una zona relax che sembra di stare in un boschetto con tavolini e sedie... Mi è piaciuto tanto. Alle colazioni c'è lo chef visibile che prepara a chiunque le uova, pan cake,frittatine,... in qualsiasi richiesta... La colazione è ben fornita.

Cons:

Purtroppo abbiamo trovato guanciali non molto comodi e nella nostra stanza ai piani alti c'erano le tende a scesa che non coprivano bene la luce poiché ci batteva il sole. Dovrebbero sovrapporle un po perché la luce di mattina entra tanto!

Posizione abbastanza centrale per muoversi a piedi verso le terme del Tettuccio.

Cons:

La camera dava sulla strada e quindi non era particolarmente silenziosa, durante la notte ho avuto problemi con una finestra, che lasciava penetrare l’aria fredda all’interno della camera
