Pros:

Not much

Cons:

The deluxe room was in the older stately home type building but the whole building was deserted. No bar open, no staff, no lounge to sit in etc.
It's a very strange experience.
The restaurant, bar, reception etc are up in the newer buildings a bit of a walk away. That was the only place there were any staff.
Oh and the bar prices are outrageous.

Very disappointing
Pros:

The Spa area was very nice & staff their were very good.
The reception staff were welcoming. The waiting staff need more training & the senior supervisor needs to be more humble & less aggressive when being told of customer concerns.

Cons:

Disappointing stay 26-28June. No Air Con in room, 2 fans provided which just circulated hot air. Air con in dining room didn’t work & the meal I had Pasta Alfredo was suppose to e (cream base) but was swimming in oil. Supervisor noted “thats how it’s made” very defensive. Breakfast, nothing special. Only 3 staff working Friday, was told (full compliment) even though we had to wait ages for drinks & food, & keep reminding them we were still waiting. Beds very lumpy; only good thing was the swimming pool & sauna. Make sure you screen shot on website the feee use of spa or they will charge you.

I think all them photos need to clearly show what the rooms look like and the building they are in. Also the rooms were
Pros:

Photos are a bit misleading showing the main building and not the actual apartments. I did not catch that we would not be in the main building.

Cons:

Location of rooms

Staff friendly offered to change room - to another room with no aircon.
No fridge in room.
Balcony filthy empty cans and cigarette butts.
Very very disappointed

Beautiful grounds but disappointing in the suites. We won’t go again
Pros:

The check in person and person on the leisure check in were very nice. The grounds are outstanding.

Cons:

The room wasn’t clean. The tv didn’t work. The windows didn’t open and there was a hole in the duvet cover. We asked to be moved, which they did. We got moved to another not very clean room, with random furniture. It was like they kept it for their spare. No coffee pods for the coffee machine or shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. The carpets weren’t vacuumed.

Value, but underwhelming. Opportunity to be so much more.
Pros:

Lovely spacious room, quiet location

Cons:

Untidy hotel, outside the lovely room. Could be so much better with a little TLC. Not great breakfast, spa nice, no telephones working.
The worst experience trying to call the hotel itself to arrange something before our stay, probably over 20 calls diverted to call centre or cut off and no one could help. Very Frustrating.

Extremely disappointed spoiled my wife’s birthday celebration.
Pros:

Location.

Cons:

Very run down. Poor standard of finish. Staff were poorly trained. One and a half hours to check in took four room changes before we finally got what we booked. Even then no hot water in the room for two days.

Terrible experience
Pros:

We were catfished basically.Once you're going on booking page ,it's showing this beautiful castle looking building,Victorian rooms etc.once we've started approaching, realised it's nothing what we've seen on the pictures.asked for receptionist to show us room , absolutely different, humidly hot.we said we won't stay there as it was deceiving as we thought it's totally different from what we've been sold to .

Cons:

Reception said they won't charge us as we booked it at 5 pm , arrived for 8:30 pm ,he promised not to charge me and lied to my face as I'm into this dilemma now ,trying to prove my point through loads of emails back and forth.unbelievably frustrating

Sad visit to a promising night away
Pros:

The food was nice. The room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

There was skeleton staff so had to wait ages be served at the bar and to be seated for breakfast. Evening meal was served but no interaction with the staff
Our room had no hot water. We were told maintenance would fix it. It wasn't fixed and we had to change rooms at 9pm at night. On arrival our room was in the old hall and there was no direction for the room which were upstairs but no signs to show this. We were wandering around for ages. No staff to help. No lifts and a lot of stairs so not for the infirm. Would not recommend to anyone else and wouldn't go again to this group of hotels
