Pool closing times:
The pool closes 30 minutes before the facility closes
(20:30 Monday–Friday, 19:30 Saturday–Sunday)
Supervision:
The pool is not lifeguarded. While staff are trained pool responders, they also manage other duties.
Child policy:
Maximum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children (no exceptions)
Children’s swimming times: 09:00–11:00 and 16:00–19:00 daily.
Please note that all rooms are accessible only via stairs.
Guests under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pool is operational now.
Leisure facilities are not free- They are charged at 12 GBP per person per day and included gym, steam, sauna and pool.
Children aged 3–12 years years incur an additional charge of £30 per night. when using extra beds.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Nice,quiet rooms and very friendly service.
The rooms are not in the big historical building but a purpose made annexe to the rear.Gluton free options are woeful at dinner...its either a burger without the bun or a salad without the croutons!! There is a gluton free bread at breakfast...but that's it.The spa doesn't have a hot tub and there is a charge to use it..and this wasn't mentioned.
The hotel looks lovely from the outside.
The hotel needs a good clean. My bathroom hadnt been cleaned. The amount of dust in the bedroom was horrendous. The pillow had a stain on.
The staff were all huddled out in the carpark, which was next to our room window, making lots of noise sat on car bonnets til gone midnight.
There was only 2 towels even though a couple, that were staying 2 night.
The room was clean and beautiful in the new part of hotel. The hotel was set in stunning location.
No EV Charger for such a remote location would have been very convenient and would encourage even more EV users. Use of swimming pool is extra which may be disappointing for some.

The pictures of a rooms when choosing the hotel do not depict the actual pictures of the rooms which you get. Also of a building the pictures depict the old part of the building the beautiful part not the buildings behind it.
