I loved the hotel! It was beautiful, extremely central so I did everything walking, the room was beautiful and the staff was so helpful and frienfly. I mentioned this was a birthday trip and to my surprise when I checked in there was a birthday card and some local cakes waiting for me. Cannot recommend the stay enough!

Rooms were not as expected
The Hotel is in an excellent location. Right in the middle of the old town and very close to bus and train station.
Room was quite compact but that about it.

All the rest. It was one of the worst stays I've had. Showers didn't work in the deluxe suite and one was flooded
There was construction going on without any notice before for the inconvenience.
We switched roms and didn't get nothing for the huge difference between them.the breakfast doesn't worth the money and the rooms were not clean... I have more but you get the idea
The hotel is in a great location, very easy to explore the city. Breakfast is nice and with quite good variety. As a family of four we stayed at the junior suite, the room was very big and the bathroom as well.
Parking was convenient. Beautiful hotel, right in the old town. Staff very friendly and even offered us an upgrade room.

Номер маленький, отопление не работало,кровати неудобные,одна подушка!На завтраке мест небыло,выбор блюд на 3 звезды,очередь за кофе,обслуживания никакого! В общем за 165 евро получаете 3 звездочный отель!

The location was nice.
The breakfast was very underwhelming, selection was limited and seemed to be more of an afterthought. I don’t expect a breakfast to be an all out affair but when a hotel is rated as a 4 star then there certain expeditions that should be expected with care and selection. There was one staff member only trying to keep everything filed and running the check in process which seemed a bit much even though the selection was very limited.
We didn’t get off to a good start! When I booked, I had specifically requested a room with lift access and a walk-in shower and, if that wasn’t possible, to be notified so that I could seek an alternative accommodation. I was assured by return email that this would be done. On arrival, quite late at night, we were told we were on the 3rd floor, which involved taking the lift to the 3rd floor, followed by one flight of stairs up and two flights down! This was the only way and the only room left with a walk-in shower! I understand that this is an old building, but had I been informed I could have gone elsewhere - I guess this is not what they wanted!
The shower turned out to be a problem anyway as the next morning it was spouting water everywhere from the middle of the pipe, squealing LOUDLY, and was unusable. It was eventually fixed, but by then we were less than impressed.
The facilities generally were good, with a very spacious room including a long couch, good storage for clothes and a well-stocked mini bar. It was nice and quiet too.
We felt the reception staff were not that welcoming or friendly, just going through the motions. But a big shoutout to the very friendly and amenable gentleman who went out of his way to fix our shower in time for the second morning!
