Great location
Sunbeds are a lie folk leave for 5-6 hours and no staff take away towels , Some folk take double sunbeds for sun and shade
Towels are a joke
Ants everywhere in the hotel
Amazing hotel, Bruno mars entertainment was amazing. Absolutely unbelievable. Definitely recommend. Staff are super friendly, day time entertainment for kids is mega. Definitely coming back.
Perfect family holiday. We (grandparents) stayed at the Zafiro with our family including two grandsons 10 and 7. Great children’s entertainment, really friendly energetic kids team. Lots of activities for the children. we were all inclusive, food was excellent plenty of variety at all times. couldn’t fault.
Very clean hotel, all staff very pleasant and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the outside restaurant.
Near to the beach if you want to go there and a lovely promenade to walk.
Entertainment team included Chris, Greta and Nuria. a special shout out to Nuria, for some excellent yoga and Pilates 🧘🏼♀️ classes a genuine professional instructor 💖. Would recommend this hotel for a family holiday. 🎉✈️
First time staying here and I can say what’s pleasant and enjoyable experience, from staff to facilities I could not fault them, well stocked drinks and buffet restaurant was great a good selection of food daily. I will surely return.
Unfortunately, I don’t feel this hotel was worth the price we paid.
The room felt quite tired and in need of some updating. We booked a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, but there was no shade at all, so it was far too hot to sit outside and enjoy it during the day. The main pool area also felt incredibly cramped, with nowhere near enough umbrellas or shaded areas for the number of guests.
Felt chaotic due to the sun-beds being so close together. Plus the rule of towels get taken after 40mins if no show, they do not do this which is a shame. So you’ll be lucky to get a bed.
We also had some disappointing service issues. We asked reception what time dinner finished and were told 10:15 pm. We arrived at 9:20 pm only to be told we were too late, which was frustrating. At check-in, we felt quite rushed and weren’t given a proper explanation of the hotel layout or map, which would have been helpful.
Our baby’s towel also went missing for a few days, which they did replace and our bedroom door creaked loudly every time it was opened or closed. With a sleeping baby, this became a real inconvenience.
Location was good, 7 min walk to lovely beach and gorgeous restaurants.
Overall, our stay didn’t meet our expectations, especially considering the cost. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here
The Zafira Palmanova is a fab hotel for families.
We travelled with our 6 year old daughter would absolutely loved the pool - so much fun.
Rooms were clean & spacious.
Entertainment every night suited both adults & kids.
Also the cocktails are amazing!
Close to the beach & some lovely restaurants.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of booking.
4th time staying at this hotel and the whole family love it. My two kids are so comfortable here the staff are all lovely. Kids club team and bar/ restaurant staff all work so hard. Recommend this hotel to everyone and will be back next year.
The staff at this hotel are amazing.
From the warm reception upon arriving to the the waving off when leaving, they smile all day long.
The hotel including our room was extremely clean and the air conditioning coped brilliantly with temperatures in the middle 30's.
We were on an all inclusive package and the food and drinks were excellent.
My granddaughter is vegetarian and was very pleased with the wide selection of food available.
In fact I started copying her food choices as they were so appealing.
The cocktails were a highlight.
The location of the hotel was great, just a very short walk to a lovely clean beach.
We hired pedalos on 3 days and had a great time.
When we enquired at reception about buses to Palma we were advised to take a taxi in as the buses are often full by the time they reach Palmanova and to take the bus on the return journey.
This was great advice and we ended up taking a taxi both ways for 23 euro in and 27 euros return .
In 35 degrees of heat being picked up and dropped off at the hotel door in an air conditioned taxi was bliss.
The entertainment was good but I feel the acts are asked to do an hour which is a bit too long.
So in summary we loved the hotel and would definitely return.
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel and it's amazing! We normally book an adults only hotel but chose this one because of the rooms, we booked the suite with the upstairs terrace with Bali bed and hot tub so there's no need to go to the pool if you don't want to. The rooms are lovely and clean with a bedroom and comfy bed, small living room and kitchenette, the only thing missing is a washing up sponge but they supply washing up liquid and the cleaners don't wash up when they clean the rooms. We're happy to wash up if they supply a sponge. Big bathroom with a lovely waterfall shower and two sinks.
When we went to the pool for a swim we normally used the side pools by the swim up rooms, it doesn't seem that they remove people's towels from sunbeds but we always found somewhere to sit. People reserve sunbeds early!
The hotel is very family friendly and great for kids. There was some good evening entertainment. Great Michael Jackson performer one night.
Location is great, 2 mins walk down some steps to son Matias beach or you can go the other way towards magaluf beach.
We didn't eat here so can't comment on that. All staff super friendly and helpful and there is a courtesy room if you have a late check out.
Hoping to go back next year!!
What fabulous hotel food was stunning the staff were so friendly and helpful super clean rooms and grounds positioned brilliant 5 mins walk to the beach so many pools to choose from with games keeping you busy and entertainment in the evenings was brilliant as well
This is our 4th visit to Zafiro Palmanova and we had an amazing time as we have done in previous years.
I have a 7 and 10 year old and they love it here, the pool is a hit along with the activities and the soft play at mealtimes (lifesaver for us parents too!)
The hotel is in a perfect location with a few minutes walk to the beach and the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained by the incredible staff.
Upon check in we were upgraded to a swim up room, which proved very helpful when my oldest developed an ear infection towards the end of the holiday. This meant he could still enjoy the water without the risk of his ear getting wet.
The staff absolutely make this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and the fact we see the same faces year after year proves they enjoy their job.
The food is great, one of the reasons we first picked this hotel is the good reviews from Coeliac customers. I have coeliac disease and in the four years we have been coming here I have not once been ill. Everything is well labelled and the chef has no issues taking you around to point out what you can and cant have. Great service! I have a very picky eater in one of my children and he always found plenty to eat.
The ONLY thing that let it down this year was the sunbed situation. In the previous years a note was left on a sunbed with a time if no one was there. If they had not returned within 40 mins then the towels were removed. A great system that seems to have been forgotten about this year. During our stay there was a large group of around 12 people. Mostly adults. From around 6.30 the grandmother would take 12 sunbeds and remain there, however the rest of the party would not show up until after lunch. I saw families turn up at pool with nowhere for them or their children to sit. This seemed to have a knock on effect with others then reserving beds and by 7.30am there was nothing left.
Zafiro, please re introduce the 40 minute rule and the enforcement as this does have an effect on a relaxing holiday!
We will be back next year x
Lovely hotel, food lovely and in a good position. Our first time fully inclusive which we really enjoyed. The only thing that let the hotel down was the sunbed joggers. A reason for going to this hotel was because they advertised that they removed towels after 40 minutes which they don't so by 7.30 am almost all the beds were taken and some were there for hours before anyone used them. Don't advertise something that you're not going to enforce.
We came here with our two daughters and booked a swim up suite where on the website it promised ‘exclusive access’ and private tranquillity to a private swim up pool, the only section you get is the small section at the front which unfortunately only gets the sun for a proportion of the day and is only large enough for two people, the larger section to the front is actually open up to any hotel guest and we had another large family in front of us every day for our entire stay, there was zero peace and privacy as the sunloungers looked directly into our room. Don’t bother booking a swim up suite as you are paying a lot of money for something anyone can have access to, we were all so disappointed and when we approached reception were met with little explanation or care to our query and even when my husband complained on a feedback email from the hotel we received no follow up. We also paid extra to ‘pick’ our room of which I now feel totally duped by, just another way to get money out of people, we would not stay again and certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want some relaxation and a peaceful family holiday.
We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone.
The staff are absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to assist with anything we needed – their excellent customer service made a real difference.
The hotel is spotless, with high standards of cleanliness throughout. There is also a great choice of food with plenty of variety at every meal, so there was always something for everyone.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our family holiday so enjoyable!
We did have the added advantage of having a swim up room which made so much difference to the toddlers!
What an amazing hotel! Location was great, Food was fantastic but most of all what a bunch of amazing staff who make this place what it really is!
Rooms were amazing and so clean. You just couldnt fault anything. Well worth he money!
A big shout out to Maria Jose and the team on reception who are just such a great front of house team! Nothing is an issue and they cant help enough. In the restaurant Elicio and Africa were just so welcoming and friendly. In all amazing. Having stayed at the Alcudia Palace hotel in prior years I did have my worries about how this other hotel would be but this surpassed by expectations.
All in All - Excellent - 5*'s all the way
Perfect location. Great atmosphere. Beautiful rooms apart from grown ups playing on the park in the middle of the night right outside my room. Great value for money plenty of food really could do with more choice for kids. We have a very picky eater who will only eat basic food but we managed to feed her everyday. Kept very clean inside and out. Noise level was fine just people having a great time. Staff were great nothing was to much trouble. Waiting to rebook again for next year cant wait.
Excellent hotel in a great location, minutes from the beach and bars.
Very family friendly and the food was outstanding.
Lovely rooms too.
Great family friendly hotel.
We’ve just arrived home from a lovely family holiday . Grandparents, parents A 5 month old & a nearly 3 year old.
Our rooms were large , comfortable & Clean .
Both had good sized balconies & pool views & one had a jacuzzi.
Always a good choice of food in restaurants to cater for most people’s needs .
The staff in the restaurant were all helpful & friendly.
Pool areas clean & we always managed to find sunbeds . Good choice of pools to suit the different ages of children .
Entertainment in the evenings was what you’d expect in a good family hotel .
Hotel is in an ideal location . Far enough not to hear the evening noise of the town but Close enough to walk to lovely beach & main shops , bars (5-10 minute stroll) There is a well stocked supermarket on site as well as an Aldi about 15 minutes walk away .
Overall definitely a great hotel I’d come back to with our family.
Would recommend & would go again. Very clean in all areas.Rooms spacious & modern. Plenty of choices with food & we had picky eaters in our family, tip lunch time you can eat of the al acarte menu on all inclusive.Bar menu was great with loads of choice, not just your usual. Didn’t use but the kids club girls seemed tobe a hit with the younger ones. Plenty of sunbeds,no 7am queuing. Location great not far from everything you need. Only things our family said it needed to give 5 stars would be an overhaul on the mini golf, very tired. And needs an entertainment team with daytime activities, energy & personalities as that is usually fun to watch or get involved with in the day by the pool.
