Qualidade da cama
We stayed here for three nights, the hotel is a short walk from one of the main shopping roads in Palermo, set in a quiet residential area. Within a 5 minute walk there are Italian restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket. It's a very easy flat walk into the centre, so well positioned for sight seeing.
The reception staff were always helpful, friendly and professional, ordering a taxi for us and suggesting a local nearby cafe for a bite to eat when we arrived early at the hotel (before check in). The interior decoration of the hotel is very stylish, the Library is a quiet and tranquil space to sit, modern sofas, artwork, glass and high ceilings.
Our bedroom was large and spacious with a high ceiling, modern with wardrobe hanging space, a safe, coffee and tea making. We live in a quiet place at home and didn't notice any street noise from our bedroom during our stay. The bathroom was new, modern with complimentary toiletries.
The breakfast room is decorated nicely, the selection of breakfast items was perfectly adequate for most Europeans. Something for everyone.
No complimentary water in the bedroom - something that is lacking for a 4* hotel.
Hotel molto bello ! Arredamento belissimo
Bagno ( fuge della doccia non al top )
Perfekt beliggenhet, fikk mange gode tips
Ingenting
Breakfast on the first day was good. Bathroom was very good. Lovely shower and quality taps. They waited for us when we got held up at airport and arrived late. Good size room.
Subsequent days the eggs and bacon were running out and cold. Fruit and coffee was good. Toast bread good but toaster very slow.
Not much shelf space in bathroom.
Very noisy in street outside in the early mornings.
A typical Italian city hotel, located in a side road, a five minute flat walk to a main shopping area and the main pedestrian area. There are numerous cafes and restaurants very nearby and a main supermarket a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is light and airy, stylish with high ceilings. Our bedroom was large, the bathroom newly fitted, the bed was very comfortable. We stayed bed and breakfast - the breakfast offered a typical choice of fruit, yoghurt, toast, croissants, scrambled eggs and a large selection of cheeses, meats and cakes.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
No complimentary water in a 4* hotel!
Perfect location, close to main part of the city, some smaller shops around to buy snacks etc, not too close to too busy road. Very nice design of the interior of the hotel. Nice breakfast - basic but everything you need to start the day. Nice and big enough room.
A bit too much noise coming from the corridors to the room - doors could be better. Thankfully all other guests were not too noisy so wasn't a big problem.
Duvet covers could be better - cover couldn't be closed so duvet was slipping out off it, not big issue tho.
Boa localização, perto do centro mas sossegada, confortável, funcionários muito simpáticos
The Hotel from inside, was looking well care, nice decoration and comfortable, the person that did help wit the bags, was very friendly.
We were there from the 5 to the 8 of may 2026, and the woman in the reception, was incredible unfriendly, in the moment of the check out, and ask for my keys to pick up my rented car, this person just let me go go with out open the garage, the distance is not so short from reception, I have to go back to tell here that the door was close and then I have a incredible un respected answer… “Up,s” and a and-polite smile, was clear that was a game for here, not to respect the time from the clients, never a sorry. My experience was terrible, thanks to this unprofessional receptionist, never will recommend a place taht not have respect for the client.
All rooms are on the first floor, there is a small lift if required, the room is large and ensuite is modern, all areas of the hotel are spotless. Breakfast is on the ground floor and you let reception know around what time you will be eating to avoid the Breakfast room becoming overcrowded, you can change your time dependant on your itinerary. Breakfast was continental with plenty of variety. There is a large seating area with plenty of room should you fancy a relax or sit and chat with friends between your tours. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and on arrival you are given suggestions on recommend restaurants within easy walking distance. The train station is only a 10 - 15 minute walk away and from there its a 40 minute train journey to the airport. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the pedestrian area and plenty of street food restaurants at a more budget friendly price. We arrived around 10.30 am after travelling via the sleeper train from Napoli, reception staff were very accommodating in getting us into our room early which we were totally not expecting but extremely grateful.
Cannot fault this hotel.
Beautiful stay in a good area in the walking distance to the city centre, with friendly staff.
Friendly, helpful, comfortable, every thing I was hoping for. A nice quite area, walking to local cafe experiences. Easy walking to everything.
A little noisy in the hallway at night, but that was probably due to excited guest. 😀 all hotels in Palermo seem a little on the expensive side, but that is demand I imagine. Nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
The Principe is a well-situated boutique hotel (32 rooms) with minimalist inspiration but extraordinary staff. From Monica on Front Desk to the Breakfast Room ladies, from the room cleaners to the male maintenance operatives, one couldn't wish for a more friendly and welcoming group of people. The downstairs sitting area is pleasant and can even boast its own small library. The shower is tip top, the ceilings are high, the neighbourhood safe and quiet and the only thing we would have appreciated - given the minimalism - was more space to place our clothes! Otherwise, an excellent stay!
Very clean , good breakfast
