Pros:

The best location you can get. Pretty new rooms.
Bed was comfy, tv was good.

Cons:

Didn’t expect how small it would be… but that’s fine. Just didn’t think it was worth the money.

Nicht noch einmal!
Pros:

Die Lage.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war extrem klein, zu klein - auch für die Buchung "Snug" zu klein.
Das Bett ist direkt an der Wand. Dort blättert die Farbe bereits ab.
Das Licht ging nicht richtig aus. Man wurde aufgefordert die Koffer unter das Bett zu schieben. Dort befand sich ein unbekannter BH einer Vormieterin, was auf die Gründlichkeit des Saubermachens schließen lässt.
Das Frühstück im Pub ist ungemütlch und man hat das Gefühl an "klebrigen" Tischen zu sitzen.

I advise against booking a single room.

Brilliant location but beware of rooms.
Pros:

Hotel location brilliant, very good front desk staff.
Double rooms very good.

Cons:

All rooms had tiny, very dirty windows that could not be opened more than an inch or so.
Internal stairs to some rooms, no lift.
Single room unpleasant & tiny.
Overall, too expensive for the rooms offered.

Pros:

Staff were great. Comfy bed and good ensuite. Thought it was very expensive, but maybe Edinburgh is pricey in the summer.

Sehr nett, in super Lage. In der Altstadt, alles fussläufig erreichbar. Nette Lokale und Pubs in der Nähe

Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Pub ist nicht zu empfehlen, es stinkt in der Früh nach Bier und die Tische sind klebrig. Ich trinke selbst gerne Bier, aber in der Früh brauche ich das nicht, Da eher ohne Frühstück reservieren und ein Lokal in der Nähe besuchen. Wir haben das Frühstück im Voraus dazugebucht, was ein Fehler war. Nach dem ersten Tag sind wir wo anders hingegangen-

Small, no frills hotel in an unbeatable location!

Great location. So easy to get to everything!

Smell of mould/damp in room. Poorly ventilated. Great weather so it was fine with the window open.
