Still a value-for-money stay
Pros:

Very friendly staff, esp John (Reception) and Cherry (Coffeehouse).

Cons:

The hand held shower head splashes everywhere, altho a shower curtain has minimised it somewhat. Water from a shower bath does not drain well.

Clean, spacious room. Big window and a little balcony. Staff kind and polite. The location is very good. Omelette from kitchen was nice.

Cons:

Staff lack a bit better spoken English. Brrakfast buffet needs more variety for simple food like pancakes or better cerials with different milk options. Staff are a bit harassing people for a good review while they are having food in their mouth.

I was allowed to have early check in for extra fee. It was great! Every time I come to Hanoi, I stayed here. They changed breakfast good way and the staff Jessy was nice.

Great hotel in lovely area right beside the lake. Brilliant location lovely room so clean and bright. Much better than hotels in the old quarter and staff were so lovely and helpful . Highly recommend this hotel one of the best we have stayed in across vietnam.
