The hotel must have offered reduced prices during the renovation process.
Pros:

Simply average.

Cons:

Normally, the hotel is OK but currently hotel was in the process of renovation and noise on the upper floors was constant throughout the day (drilling, hitting), the elevators were dirty during but obvious reasons (workers were all day long in and out carrying furniture, carpets, lamps, etc. The carpet in my floor had stains everywhere and even the breakfast area has a leak.

100% NOT recommend staying here!! Bugs!
Pros:

As a gold member you would think the service would be nice and welcoming. It was not. Booked 3.5 weeks in advance called several times for a friend and my rooms to be close or same floor at
Least as we were there with our special needs children getting ready for 2026 Summer Special Olympics games. We are over 3 hrs away and called several times to ask and then they finally came out and said they over booked us and wanted to send us off to sister hotel. I have never stayed at a place that was so disrespectful and not once apologized. Shannon Connelly manager disrespectful and ignoring us. Changed my notes to send us to other hotel. We had double bed suites and told us if we wanted to stay we could have one person on king bed and other person use the pull out couch. Rooms smelt of old moth balls trying to cover us old cigarette smell. Headboard not wiped and smidges on it of God only knows. Toilet was missing a screw and bolt to hold seat on. Biggest thing was the constant leak in the dining area from a cvc pipe which looked to have a grated title so I guess they wouldn’t have to keep changing the ceiling tile. Front person Hailey and breakfast attendant Angela were amazing. Adrain the “big” manager there was horrible with customer service leaving his ppl to fend for themselves with a crowd of people in the lobby. Adrian also was not understanding of they had plenty of time and his people to call us or tell us this was happening before we all got there as several of our group members called before getting the on our Friday through Sunday stay. Construction was happening which was fine but having your customers move out the way for the construction workers a bit crazy for them with hazardous materials coming and going from the elevator through front doors. Sold out to keep workers there and oversell on rooms and makes it be your fault. Would not recommend staying here unless you like to pay for a junkyard! Plus the amount of times being on hold there messaged plays “if you are not 100% satisfied with your stay would don’t pay for your stay unto which I have it recorded. They just want your money! Bugs everywhere even crawling on counter when checking into a completely different room then what was reserved! Should be shut down especially with the construction! The health dept should be notified.

Confusing, muggy and lack of parking
Pros:

Where do I begin with this .. First off its right next to the mall so getting there is a little confusing. We checked in and they supposedly are actively doing renovations. Our room was on the top floor (seventh). Once we entered our room, it was obvious that this was not a renovated room. It was 92 and 96 degrees during our stay and the air conditioning was broke. We had it as low as it could go (60) it easily felt like a hot, muggy 75. It was cooler in the hallway than in our room. The sofa had a stain on it, the dishwasher was broke, the tiles by the bathroom has broken pieces, the chest of drawers was missing handles and some drawers would not stay closed. The tub was slow to drain causing water to remain stagnant in the tub and rise while showering. The water stayed in the tub up to our calves and we didn't feel safe. I have had hip replacements and my partner had numerous foot surgeries and spinal fusion surgery. I will also say that the toilet sat incredibly low and there was no safety bars.

Parking was the worst. We arrived back to the hotel at midnight and there were no parking spaces available due to parking being blocked off for construction. We had to park in front of the hotel entrance, pratically in the bushes, which felt unsafe. Both my partner and I are both disabled and no handicap spaces were available, there is only 6 spaces, which is highly inadequate for the size of the hotel.

The best part of our stay was the staff members and the free breakfast.

Extremely dated, carpets in bad need of replacing. Suite mini kitchen had extreme water damage on the floor!
Pros:

Wow is this hotel in need of an update BADLY!

Carpets throughout this entire hotel are badly stained and just look so incredibly worn/dirty. The hotel feels dark and OLD. Not the typical Homewood suites, feels like it's right out of a 70s movie!

Sure, it's nice when you have a mini kitchen in your suite and can utilize it especially for longer stays. This is our second time at this hotel, it's extremely convenient to my husband's work location and also walkable to a big mall and lots of restaurants (almost across the street). Keep in mind, that there is not a sidewalk even though it is a short walk there is a small section where you will have to walk on the side of the road if you don't have a vehicle and are walking.

Bathrooms are extremely dated and old and so are the kitchens. This time in our room, the kitchen floor which I believe was laminate was so badly water damaged that it was buckled to the point where it felt precarious to even walk on it. I'm baffled that they would not just lay down some cheap LVT and actually leave the water damaged floor in place!

Bathrooms are relatively clean but just extremely dated and old. I would never walk around on this carpet in my bare feet.

AC units seem to work OK but definitely does not feel like it's blowing dry air, almost like there's so much moisture in the wall walls and the carpets and the old furniture that the AC just can't keep up and dry it out.

The staff is relatively nice, some of them were super and some of them were very ambiguous. The free breakfast is nice they have waffles, and typically some type of egg, meat, and potato. I have found that often in these locations though that the egg part is typically cheese Incorporated, so for those who are avoiding cheese it makes it difficult. I did not see any hard-boiled eggs - only the "mini omelettes" that had cheese in the middle. The food was acceptable but not fantastic. A small shout out to the gal who sets up the breakfast, she was really amazing and super friendly!

I wouldn't exactly avoid this location like the plague… But next time I will definitely be making sure I get one of the other hotels in the area until this one has had an update.
