Fijne locatie, maar had iets chiquers verwacht

Locatie: centraal, naast station.

Cons:

We kregen een upgrade aangeboden, waarbij je een betere kamer kreeg en toegang tot een lounge waar je rustig kon ontbijten en onbeperkt kon eten en drinken. Ons werd verteld dat je er kon dineren en dat er ook cocktails waren. De lounge was bloedheet, er waren alleen wat hapjes. Er stond sterke drank, maar niks om mee te mixen behalve warme tomatensap. Het was dus zelfbediening, niet wat wat wij voor ogen hadden. Gelukkig konden we dit annuleren.
Onze 'gedowngrade' kamer op de derde etage was inderdaad iets minder: gedateerd meubilair, iets harder bed, spinnenweb aan het plafond en schimmel in de badkamer.
Geen lekkere Duitse verse broodjes helaas. Bolletjes is mini formaat en droog.

Pros:

The Melia hotel boasts a pleasant environment and a convenient location, offering a beautiful river view from the window. It is close to the subway station, and shopping is convenient in the surrounding area. The room is of moderate size, very clean, and comes with thoughtfully provided slippers, making the accommodation experience excellent.
At the same time, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Niyazi & Lana, who handled our team's check-in. Our company's requirements for invoices are very cumbersome. The two of them worked tirelessly to help us confirm the details time and time again, finally meeting our requirements after an hour of work. Fortunately, there were not many people in the lobby at that time, so it didn't delay their other duties. Thank them again!

Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl und umsorgt.
Pros:

Mein Mann ist schwer erkrankt. Das Personal hat uns unterstützt, wo es möglich war. Ich hatte immer einen Ansprechpartner und wurde nicht alleine gelassen. Essen bzw. Trinken wurde gebracht, durch die Lounge hatte ich Möglichkeit, jederzeit etwas zu Essen zu bekommen.
Die Lage ist perfekt: fußläufig alles gut erreichbar, Bahn und Bus ebenfalls. In der näheren Umgebung Geschäfte zur Selbstversorgung.

Cons:

In die 8. Etage gab es nur einen Aufzug. Das führte zeitweise zu längeren Wartezeiten.

Geweldig hotel op een geweldige locatie om Berlijn te ontdekken !
Pros:

Geweldige locatie, eindelijk housekeeping die onze handdoeken effectief liet hangen als ze nog proper waren en ze niet automatisch vervangen werden, supervriendelijk personeel, op wandelafstand van openbaar vervoer, lekkere restaurants in de buurt, zeer comfortabele bedden, toffe kleine gym, kortom Melia Berlin is zeker een aanrader !

Cons:

Geen stopcontacten aan het hoofdeinde van het bed, op zich niet erg, maar bij veel mensen is de gsm ook de wekker en dan is het niet zo handig dat die niet kan opgeladen worden aan of naast het bed.

Pros:

Top Lage. U-bahn Haltestelle Friedrichstraße direkt nebenan. Zu Fuß sind es aber auch nur 10 min bis Haltestelle Unter den Linden. Brandenburger Tor und Reichstag auch im 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal :)
