Gute Lage, schöne Aussicht, nettes Personal
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, mitten in Manhatten gleich beim Bryant Park. Für New York-er Verhältnisse großes Frühstücksangebot in netter Ambiente.
Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, speziell beim Front Desk. Geräumiges Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht.
Wir waren das zweite Mal hier und werden weiterhin dieses Hotel buchen, wenn wir wieder nach New York kommen.

Not worth the price
Cons:

Guests should be informed at the time of booking that the hotel currently does not have a proper lobby. The reception area felt more like a youth hostel than a renowned hotel, which was far below our expectations. Some members of staff were also poorly dressed, further contributing to an unprofessional impression.
The sleeping arrangements were another major disappointment. The extra sofa had protruding springs that could be felt even through an extra mattress, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. We also had to ask for extra mattresses and bed linen, which should have been provided without having to request them.
Additionally, the water dispenser was out of order for some time, yet the reception staff did not offer complimentary bottled water as an alternative. Instead, we were told that bottled water would cost approximately USD 3, if I remember correctly.
Overall, the experience did not justify the price we paid, particularly given the ongoing renovations and the reduced level of comfort and service. For comparison, a beautiful, modern Hilton hotel nearby was approximately USD 200 cheaper, making the value for money at this hotel even more disappointing.
Given these circumstances, I believe a partial refund or other appropriate compensation would be fair. I would appreciate it if you could review our experience and offer a reasonable resolution.

Cons:

Breakfast was ordinary. No reading lamp on one side of the bed. Bed really hard. Pull out sofa full of springs and disgracefully uncomfortable.

Ascenseurs bruyants, le sofa pour la 3e personne n’est pas utilisable en l’état mais une fois le matelas ajouté c’était ok (mais pas terrible), la salle de bain vétuste, le drap housse du lit de 2 personnes trop petit

Cons:

Están refaccionsndo y todo se hace más incómodo. No nos avisaron de la refacción al reservar sino apenas unos días antes de llegar. Los lugares comunes estaban sucios y de mal aspecto. El ascensor hacía ruidos extraños y parecía q se iba a caer y además a veces no tomaba la tarjeta para indicar el piso. Las toallas necesitan una renovación.
