Perfect location, perfect Island for a peaceful holiday

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir haben eine Woche im Grand Hotel sehr genossen.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr gross und schön eingerichtet. Doppelbett gross und sehr bequem, nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart. Badewanne/Dusche für ältere Leute nicht so geeignet. Terrasse und Aussicht ein Traum. Klimaanlage haben wir gebraucht und war angenehm. Highlight ist der Swimmingpool mit Sicht über den Hafen. Busverbindung gut, allerdings der Fussweg zum Bus durch parkende Autos oft verstellt. Das Hotel organisiert aber gerne Fahrer für Ausflüge. Frühstücksbuffet und Essen sehr gut. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Badewanne/Dusche: wäre besser gewesen nur eine Dusche. Dies gilt aber nur für ältere oder nicht so bewegliche Leute. Für alle anderen kein Problem.

Great Location. Needs Refurbishment
Pros:

The staff were efficient and friendly. Food is delicious and Rooms are spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent and the view from the pool area is superb.

Cons:

The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. There were no plugs near the bed to charge our phones. We had to unplug the tv to charge our mobiles.
There is only one small lift from the reception area, which can be very inconvenient. During our stay, the lights went out, as it did across Gozo. however to our surprise the hotel did not seem to have a generator to at least provide power in the common areas. During breakfast, it was very uncomfortable. Malta was going through a heatwave that day, and with no electricity, everyone was sweating and constantly wiping away the sweat including the staff. This is something that you wouldn't expect for a four star rated hotel! They should at least have a backup plan when something like this happens.

During a recent power outage, neither the elevators nor the air conditioning systems were functional. Requiring guests to climb five flights of stairs is a significant inconvenience and a safety concern.For a 4-star establishment, it is essential to maintain seamless operations. I strongly recommend investing in a robust backup generator capable of supporting major appliances and elevators. Implementing this infrastructure now will protect your guest experience and support your capacity growth in the near future.Thank you for your attention to this matter. Cons:

Parcheggio simile ad una caverna,con accesso/uscita difficile. Corridoio di accesso agli ascensori/camere senza aria condizionata e con moquette consumata e che emana odore di umidità/muffa. Camera con umidità sui muri e non pulitissima. Colazione varia,ma non di qualità. Struttura, servizi e costi non da 4 stelle.
