Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Saumur und doch kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Die Zimmer sind sehr individuell eingerichtet, das Bett bequem und es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Es gibt einen Parkplatz im Innenhof, den man vorab reservieren sollte, da die Parkplätze begrenzt sind, aber er ist mit einem Tor gesichert und man hat keine Probleme, wenn man eine Dachbox auf dem Auto hat und kann so auch Gepäck im Auto lassen.

Pros:

Well located.

Cons:

The room was super small, we couldn’t even close the toilets door, that’s how tiny it was. Clearly didn’t feel worth for the money paid. Also, we were told that the breakfast was “very good” to quote, well it was quite mediocre to be perfectly honest. Eggs had a very strong taste, bacon was barely cooked. Overall underwhelming.

Great stop over in a beautiful town
Pros:

We loved our stay! The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean and the hotel itself is in a great location. We booked the parking and were slightly worried that our large Volvo 4x4 would be too big for the spaces but it was fine. The receptionist who was also running the bar was really helpful and we tried some lovely local wines including the cremant. Breakfast had a wide selection the next day and there were gluten free options too. Would definitely stay here again.
