My day was horrible. I have never had an experience like this at a Hilton hotel.
Pros:

The Rome had a very foul odor, made it very uncomfortable. I checked in at 12 AM and checked out at 7 AM.

Wonderful family stay
Pros:

I brought my family to Houston for a week long stay and would highly recommend staying here. The hotel staff was friendly and prompt with all of our family requests and needs throughout our stay. The hotel was extremely clean and in a great location. Overall a great experience that felt like I should have been paying a lot more than I did.

Looks good, was clean, but loud!!
Pros:

We rented 3 rooms for a family trip. Kudos to the housekeepers and designers. It was clean and it looked good. And the front desk staff was helpful.

Thumbs down to whoever put in VERY LOUD air conditioners in the rooms. If you want to sleep, they have to be off, and then the rooms get warm. And when those are off, traffic noise from I-10 is noticeable all night.

Also, there is no covered area to unload a car and no ramp by the door, just a curb. As it rains a bit in Houston, not having a covered area was a problem in a storm. (And there is a ramp near the entrance but it’s part of a parking space and so it’s blocked any time a car is there.)

Would not stay there again just because of the loud air conditioners.

I’ve stayed at worse places, but not by much.
Pros:

Overall the staff was very polite and the room was cleanish.

Cons:

The mattress felt like it came from goodwill and the pillows were a joke. My wife and I both woke up in pain.
