Apartment not maintained to a very high standard.
Pros:

Convenience to local shops.

Cons:

Difficult to find reception area - no signage.
When leaving in early morning no instructions of where to leave the key.
Car parking spaces are too small.
Not as clean as it should be.
Some lights didn't have globes, exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. Bathroom smelled like a men's urinal.

Old style high bedroom side cupboard drawer was wide open (did not stay shut) - easy to hit you head or face on if you rolled over in the night or got up in the dark

Do not waste a cent of your money on The Oaks Liberty
Pros:

I could not rate Oaks Liberty any lower.

I fully understand and respect that businesses have policies, and in this instance I accept that I did not have my physical credit card with me. I relied on my phone for both payment and identification, which were fully functional. If the policy requires the physical card, then so be it.

The issue was not the policy. The issue was the way it was handled.

The manager, Ahmed Jaderi, was hostile, dismissive and unwilling to discuss whether there were any alternative options available. Rather than attempting to assist or explain the policy professionally, I was made to feel like I was being treated as a scammer or a criminal.

Customer service is about how you communicate with people, especially when delivering news they don't want to hear. On this occasion, there was no professionalism, empathy or willingness to help.

The contrast with Oaks Pier across the road was remarkable. Amanda and the team were professional, respectful and genuinely helpful. Based solely on the service we received, I would have happily paid twice as much to stay there instead. To be clear - we did stay at the Oaks Pier.

Ahmed's approach very nearly ruined my partner's birthday. Policies are understandable. Disrespectful customer service is not.

Thank you, Amanda and the team at Oaks Pier. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Oaks Liberty represented by Ahmed 'Pablo' Jaderi.

Exceptional location, friendly staff, value for money.
Pros:

The location couldn't have been better, easy to bus, tram, shops and eateries.
