Great location, good vibes, and kind staff.
Pros:

The balcony on both sides of my room allowed views of the gulf in different directions. The sunrise and sunset were epic. The room had plenty of room. The kitchen was on point. Overall I was really happy with my stay.

Cons:

There were some light bulbs burnt out. Nothing major on that. The menu for the eatery on the top floor, unimpressive. More options would be a bonus. The breakfast buffet was ok, but who cares about Canadian bacon? That was the daily meat choice, which could be improved.

Great View
Pros:

This score reflects not just the hotel, but the specific weekend we stayed as well. We decided to stay for the 4th of July thinking this was the perfect location to watch fireworks.
The staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were gracious and friendly the day of our stay. The breakfast had a very nice selection and the breakfast staff (Diane especially) were on top of ensuring everything was well stocked. Coffee was great, which is unusual in a hotel. The view from our room was phenomenal!

Cons:

Now what we perceive as the downside. Between hotel room and buffet dinner at Vista to ensure we had a view of fireworks, we spent over $800 for one night. We were a bit underwhelmed. The food was very good as long as you used the sauces provided. Otherwise it was lacking in flavor. Also, the ad said they would provide light drinks and shots. We received one small shot. We ended up buying soda and two glasses of wine.

The hotel is much too far away to have a great view of the fireworks. While you had an expansive vista, everything was so far away, you could barely see it. Also, our room had terrible water pressure. You could literally barely brush your teeth. And it took several minutes for us to get tepid water to shower. That said, had we not spent such an incredible amount of money for one night, we likely wouldn’t have been quite as disappointed.

Pros:

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredible. They were all so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating for a solo traveler. The location was awesome. I ran from the hotel to St. Pete's Beach and saw a couple of dolphins on the way back.

Cons:

The only thing was the balcony. I was expecting to sit on the balcony enjoying my coffee, but the vent outside was so loud, it wasn't enjoyable.

Pros:

EXCELLENT Hotel Stay, comfortable, easy to find, park and get going. Very easy access to main road and local beaches. I will be coming back. A Pet fee per stay of $150 is a little high but we paid it.

Cons:

No complaints, just maybe the breakfast (eggs) weren't great, after sitting there a while they turn to rubber. Nothing else.
