The grounds were beautiful and vast. The room too was large and airy.
There was no minibar. The breakfast was very ordinary.
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in a traditional priory room, at the top of the main building and it was massive! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was very nice. I would also recommend the Rose and Crown pub nearby for dinner. The food was really nice and the price was about a third less. Thw gardens were also very pretty and we enjoyed playing croquet on the lawn!

The hotel was in amazing grounds, with a lovely garden, restaurant was very good . Room very comfortable.
The bar next to the golf club was noisy at night with people sitting outside, our room was near that .
Beautiful building with lots of history.
The location of this country club is magnificent, it has a very calm and quiet atmosphere. The room was very clean, however there was no air conditioning in the room which in hot weather (like it was during my stay) the room became very stuffy. We were left with a fan which was reassuring.
I was greatly disappointed with the service at the restaurant of the country club. We had a table reserved for 8pm and upon arrival (8pm) we were told that the staff had to check to see if the table was available even though we booked for 8pm. After we were sat down, we waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. After waiting for 40 minutes, we asked a waiter how much longer the starters were going to take because waiting 40 minutes for a starter was rather extortionate. We were reassured that the starters were being made in the kitchen and should be with us soon. After waiting 50 minutes after the order was taken, we received the starters. We then waited a further 35 minutes for our main course to arrive. We sat down at our table at 8:05pm and we left at 10:00pm. I expected better service however, the waitress that was looking after us was extremely helpful.
My overall stay in the hotel was very relaxing and it was lovely to overlook the golf course whilst sat on the patio area.
Had a lovely facial with Jakub, I felt well looked after . Jakub was professional and Friendly.
My colleagues also had treatments with Lexi and have all said was a great experience.
Lexi also helped organise our day beforehand, making everything smooths d stress free from the start
excellent hotel. room was nice with a big comfortable bed and a lovely view out over the lake and fountain. staff were helpful and friendly and will help in any way they can. will definitely stay here again.
only bad thing i came across was the tv in the room had a poor signal so not many channels actually worked
