It served a purpose
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Room was very small. Facing a main road so lots of noise and very hot. Fan in room was not sufficient and window did not open completely.

Cons:

Mauvais emplacement de l'hôtel sur jne route tres passante. Toutes les chambres donnent sur cette route donc les nuits sont compliquées.
La douche de la salle de bains privative était minuscule a peine de quoi de tourner! Jamais vu ca!
Peu de choix au petit dejeuner: pas de fruit, pas de yaourt, pas de viennoiseries fraîches, jus.de fruits en boîte. Vraiment tres moyen.

The Spice Ship, Weymouth.
Pros:

The room was very clean and well decorated. The shower was lovely and we appreciated the toiletries. Nice to have a car park and it was in a good location. Just 11 minutes by bus to the seafront.

Cons:

We were in Bowleaze room on the ground floor and thought the room was very small. The bulkhead for the room upstairs was in the room and we hit our heads on it. There was very limited room for clothes, just one shelf and a hanging rail with 5 hangers. We had to use one of the hangers to wedge the bedroom window open as the room was so hot. The bathroom window didn't open very far. There was a fan in the room, but we had to close the windows when we went out as the room overlooked the carpark. We left after 2 nights as the room was far too hot and we were unable to sleep. We were there during a heatwave so the room may be better in the cooler months. Perhaps a small air conditioning unit could be considered for the summer.

A place to stay for the hardcore
Pros:

In the pictures online the room was twice as big as in reality but at least we fit in. There were no towels in the room but when we asked we got some instantly. There was some noise from the fan next door but we decided to turn on ours as well and didn't hear the other one anymore. We could not close the window to the road but despite the noise particularly from motorbikes we could sleep a few hours thanks to the earplugs provided. We could make tea in the room. Breakfast was rather cheap things but we did not leave hungry. There was free parking on site.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good choice.

Cons:

The weather was hot and our room stayed very warm. A fan was supplied but the window would only open 6". No air con, but it is an old building and the weather was abnormal.

Pros:

Ein nettes Pub Feeling. Hatten gerade die WM und ein England Spiel erlebt, das war super!. Frühstück war typisch Englisch Breakfast, was am Anfang unserer Reise ein guter Start war.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr sehr klein und weil man in einem der Zimmer das Fenster nur 8-10 cm aufmachen konnte, sehr heiß.

We were in the room downstairs adjoining the Pub which was excellent when you have a dog and so convenient to walk out with him!

The room was excellent and the food horrible.
Pros:

My room was excellent. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and nice. They couldn’t do enough for me.

Cons:

Breakfast was edible. The first night of my stay I had dinner in the restaurant. I chose two meals off the special’s board which they didn’t have. I finally went with a ploughman’s. It came with processed cheese. Six slices of French bread with no butter and was so stale I could not eat it. There were pickled onions, pickled cabbage, pickled beetroot and Ploughman’s pickle. A lot of pickle. A very small salad with no dressing except salad cream. Very Very Poor. 😩

Very nice BUT too hot.
Pros:

Breakfast was good and freshly prepared & cooked.

Cons:

The room was unbearably hot. I appreciate that the weather was exceptional in terms heat but there was no way to have any air move out of the room. The corridor was also too hot. I realise that this is an old building but I think they must try and find a way to free up the existing windows to allow air to circulate. We took our own fan but even with 2 fans we found it unbearable.
Which is a shame because the room was well decorated and very clean offering everything you could want. It was just the heat.
