Supert hotell hvis du skal gå på Etna Syd
Pros:

Rimelig hotell med kort vei til Etna Syd. Fin beliggenhet med basseng.

Fire stjernes, men føltes mer som tre. Litt gammeldags og slitent, men rent.

Tolle Anlage direkt am Ätna mit sehr schönem Ausblick, dass in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Umfangreiches Frühstück.
Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Waren als Familie für eine Nacht in zwei Premiumzimmern untergebracht.
Ein Zimmer war anscheinend früher ein Raucherzimmer. Das hat man auch gerochen.
Die Terrassen waren lieblos, einfachst mit einem Tisch, 2 Stühlen und 2 Liegen ausgestattet.
Das buchbare Abendessen war leider nicht so besonders.
Insgesamt sind die Premiumzimmer nicht preiswert.

Pros:

Good views, close drive to Etna. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds. Good breakfast with lots of choices.

Cons:

The hotel is trying squeeze out as much money out of you as possible (towels for spa are paid extra, mandatory caps for spa are paid etc) and all the drinks were very expensive (12 euros for aperol spritz served in a plastic glass). The dinner was reasonably priced but there were way better choices in the town down the hill (5mins drive/25mins walk).
Spa was a bit dissapointing.
The room did not have any space to hang wet stuff (towels/swimsuits etc) which is a bit uncomfortable for a spa hotel.
