Good stay but a few problems
Pros:

Staff were great

Cons:

Shower was old fasioned and small.
Pizza we ordered had a soggy base and very little ingredients. It tasted like eating cardboard and softened red peppers.

Coming back!
Pros:

Everything. I booked this for my parents and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for them. My partner and I previously stayed here and absolutely loved it. The views, the food, the accommodation, the grounds; so wonderful.

Pros:

Excellent location near wineries, Hunter Valley Gardens, Pokolbin Village, and the Cheese Factory. Lovely equiped room and a very good breakfast. Room service was excellent and the staff are just so lovely. Great facilities and wide open spaces to enjoy nature.

Cons:

More vegetarian options at the restaurant for dinner was the only thing.

Wish we could have stayed longer
Pros:

Such a beautiful hotel has all the amenities of a large hotel with the feel of a boutique bed and breakfast. Allowed us to check in early with a free upgrade. Breakfast was beautiful, wish we stayed longer to experience the high tea and dinners too. The amenities on the property were well kept and extensive. Great customer service exceptionally friendly.

Lovely accommodation in the Hunter Valley
Pros:

Beautiful maintained property. Luxurious rooms and gorgeous gardens. Lovely lounge areas. Good for big groups as many linked rooms

Cons:

It can get very busy. Breakfast was a bit crazy with a lot of people but they did keep replacing the food and lots of choice. Just need another coffee machine. Big queue to get coffee

The rooms were very nice and the size of the property.

Cons:

Pool wasn’t heated as mentioned but that is understandable that it could have been forgotten to turn on. The animal enclosures were too small with too many chickens/turkeys in the enclosure. Need better animal welfare.
