Room was possibly next to an equipment room and i could hear a repetitive buzzing/vibration in the night.
The bed was lumpy.
I was promised some extra water, it never arrived.
Often had to queue at bar while poor bar staff tried to cope, this happened on previous visits too.
Whenever i went to reception there was a wait to speak to someone so i didn’t wait.

Breakfast was good part from the yoghurt that was off. Pool was nice and good location.
Room was very small, air con was intermittent. Bed linen not great quality and mould in the bathroom.

Efficient, polite staff, pleasant, clean and spacious room, good toiletry supplies in a pleasantly appointed ensuite and fairly effective air conditioning (suffering slightly from its load on a very hot day!). Excellent breakfast, apart from the slight niggle with the tea!
Despite the excellent breakfast, the very surprising lack of tea (as opposed to herbal infusions, which were abundant!) in the breakfast room was a little disappointing. Having said that, if I was really bothered I would have asked but decided on coffee instead. I feel sure some would have been provided - although there didn't seem to be an empty space where tea would be. That being all there was to gripe about suggests a great review for this fine hotel!

Friendly staff, clean and felt spacious in the public areas. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking for a city hotel. It is a bit of a way out from the city centre, but there are plenty of buses into town, and it's only a few minutes journey. There is a large recreation ground a few minutes walk away. Pool is not very big, but fine for a little swim.
Not a lot to dislike for the location and price. I suppose the room was a bit compact, and while clean and reasonably well appointed there were one or two signs a little maintenance was due.

The shower temp wouldn’t stay, it kept going from hit to cold, my air con didn’t work, the bath towel had a hole in it
Bed was comfy.
Air con didn’t work in any room. I moved rooms three times. The first room stunk of sewage. The smell was incredibly strong. The second room was like a sauna. Couldn’t cope as the air con didn’t work. Third room had working air con but the floor was soaking wet. The whole hotel itself was very run down. I got stuck in the loft at one point.
