The swimming pool was nice but needs a lot of attention
Pros:

The location was excellent im on an electric invalid scooters very easy for the tram

Cons:

I think the car parking fees could be free or at least lower we live in the north east and it's a long way to travel to see family and car parking is free in hotels we've been in

Time moves on but not for the better.
Pros:

First morning Saturday was lovely cooked b/fast. Then on Sunday, no bacon, cold hard fried eggs, so much liquid in scrambled egg.
Parking is good value.

Cons:

Check out was frustrated. The bill listed items with in-house hotel codes. So room service turned out to be ‘bar’ and so on even the receptionist didn’t know blaming the system. Took 20mins for the receptionist to unscramble and decipher the account so we understood what we were paying for.
Years ago as the old Savoy or Nottingham Moat House, reception was directly in front of the entrance. Perfect. Now a bench in the old lounge bar!
It’s just a faceless, city hotel relying on passing trade.

Pros:

That it was local to town and staff was helpful

Cons:

That the steam room has been out of use for more than a year now, and the swimming pool water looked muck and unkept
