Didn’t eat too pricey
Your manager was disrespectful it was my partner’s birthday she was so upset it’s sad
Good facilities
The breakfast let my stay down. Cold, rubbery eggs. Cold bacon. Warm orange juice. Cold mushrooms. Dry bread.
staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice.Room was clean,
Our room overlooked the car park and so we heard people leaving (there was some sort of celebration being held that evening),It disturbed my partners sleep.
Nothing
No windows to open air con didnt open took ages to get deposit back and didn’t realise I had to pay 50 aswell as £160
Comfortable hotel, friendly staff and plenty of parking
Sauna and jacuzzi weren't working
The hotel is clean, breakfast well prepared and presented.
Very noisy, specially at night time, poor insulation.
The location was excellent im on an electric invalid scooters very easy for the tram
I think the car parking fees could be free or at least lower we live in the north east and it's a long way to travel to see family and car parking is free in hotels we've been in
Liked the location, plenty of parking, easy check in and out
Pillows were very uncomfortable and you could easily hear the person in the next room, as well as toilets/showers in other rooms. Breakfast wasn't good quality although plenty of choice
Cost of parking not included in the cost of our stay. Room small. No ironing facilities included although stated on booking
First morning Saturday was lovely cooked b/fast. Then on Sunday, no bacon, cold hard fried eggs, so much liquid in scrambled egg.
Parking is good value.
Check out was frustrated. The bill listed items with in-house hotel codes. So room service turned out to be ‘bar’ and so on even the receptionist didn’t know blaming the system. Took 20mins for the receptionist to unscramble and decipher the account so we understood what we were paying for.
Years ago as the old Savoy or Nottingham Moat House, reception was directly in front of the entrance. Perfect. Now a bench in the old lounge bar!
It’s just a faceless, city hotel relying on passing trade.
That it was local to town and staff was helpful
That the steam room has been out of use for more than a year now, and the swimming pool water looked muck and unkept
