The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults.
Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel:
0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/
5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/
12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price.

Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
From 29 October 2025, a £5 daily congestion charge will apply to cars driving through central Oxford – please check if you need a permit.
There is a limit of 30 onsite parking spaces at the hotel which must be booked in advance by contacting the hotel to the contact number provided on the confirmation after booking. The charge is GBP 34 for an overnight stay from 15:00 until 12:00 the next day. Spaces are subject to availability and must be booked prior to your stay in order to guarantee a reserved space. You will be asked to leave your keys with our reception team upon arrival. Please contact the hotel for further details. Valet parking is also available.
When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies . Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

Was very nice and unique, the rooms were a decent size . Restaurant was amazing .

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was very central to the centre of town. Staff were very accommodating.
Overall very happy with our stay.
Bathroom the bath tap and shower heads were leaking even when taps and shower were off, but didnt affect us really. There was nothing else that we didnt like.
Location, staff, decor, food were all really good
Our room has a split level with stairs. We were not aware of this when we booked and it was a challenge for my wife. Advance notice would have been better and we could have selected an alternative.

Everything was great, however room toilet was blocked and we had to use the lobby toilets. Room also smelt very strange (like stale and musty). However we love the hotel and will always return.

The character of the prison, but with comfortable rooms, great shower in the club room, with bath too, and being in the grounds of the prison. The staff were really nice, especially Wayne behind the bar, and the bar manger, but she did not give her name, both were so polite. The breakfast was very good.
The parking was expensive at £34 per night.

Everything was superb. The location is very walkable and in the heart of Oxford but serene and quiet. It is on the grounds of a castle next to Oxford University. The renovation of the old stone prison is exceptional and modern while emphasizing the historic structure. The food is delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay.
