Cons:

I waited 40 minutes to check in at 2PM because there was no staff at the property. No receptionist, no housekeeping, and nobody answered the phone when I tried calling. After 40 minutes, someone finally arrived to let me in.

The hotel has two floors. The lower floor, where the reception and some rooms are located, smells extremely bad like mold and dampness, to the point where it’s hard to breathe. The second floor seems recently renovated and was much cleaner and fresher.

There were multiple maintenance issues in the room. The bathroom door handle was broken so I couldn’t properly close or lock the door. The sink tap was also broken, so there was no running water to wash hands. There is also a gap under/around the hotel room door, allowing mosquitoes to come inside.

The restaurant next to my room was under full renovation during my stay. It was very loud, messy, and dirty. Construction workers stayed awake all night talking loudly and playing cards, making it difficult to sleep.

Another concern was the safety box in the room. It was not bolted to the wall, meaning anyone could simply take the entire safe, which does not feel secure at all.

Pros:

Stayed for one night only but really enjoyed the place. Excellent location close to the beach and if you stay in one of the rooms on the first floor you have a lovely view over the ocean and can watch the sunset from the shared balcony (although I recommend watching it with a beer in hand on the beach)

Cons:

No breakfast option.

Ok for a night!
Pros:

Hotel very well located to the beach and restaurants. It’s ok for a couple of nights stay. You need to book an ocean view room on the 1st floor for the view otherwise you will be looking directly at a wall to a car park on the ground floor. If you want a pool ‘Boheme’ up the road rent pool beds by the day and that is a lovely hotel- with a fabulous restaurant and bar!

Cons:

There is no privacy to the bedroom apart from thick curtains- the room opens on to a communal walkway so the bed is visible. A sheer inner curtain would be appreciated to draw across in daylight hours. There were also problems with power not functioning for periods of time on the two days I was there. I paid extra for a late check out and had no power which was very frustrating and I was not offered a refund of the extra fee I paid.
