Pros:

Although the area “looks” a bit run down, it is actually quite trendy. The hotel is quiet and well located.

Cons:

The breakfast was not as good as we expected. It is mostly Asian food we did not get used to in the morning. More selection of pastry, sourdough bread, avocado on toast, granola, oat porridge will be recommended for western travellers.

Very close to shopping areas. If not, bus stops were 5 minutes away

Cons:

Little more security. Was not concerned but would like access to your floor only. Would be nice to hang wet towels

A Week in Taipei
Pros:

Spacious and comfortable room/bathrooms, excellent shower pressure as well. Location is top notch, around 5 mins walk to Ningxia night market and Dadaocheng walking/shopping street. Zhongsan main road and hipster district is roughly 10 odd mins walk away.

A grocery is right beside, with a Family Mart and 7E right opposite the road along with a Bafang dumpling store. Very pleasant stay in a central suburb of Taipei, Uber rides conveniently to all other parts of the city.

Cons:

Room was a somewhat dim, minor complaint.

Very comfortable stay in a great location
Pros:

Convenient location and walking distance to 3 train stations, as well as Ximending and Zhongshan shopping districts, and Ningxia night market. Room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet.

夜市にも歩いて行けてとても良かったです。

Convenient and lovely stay
Pros:

Large room, convenient location, beautiful lobby and dining area, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, great value, and felt safe.

Cons:

Room and bathroom were a bit dated, lights in the bathroom got really hot, the air conditioning didn't work very well, and the view from the room wasn't very good.
