Looked nice on arrival! Staff were lovely. Grounds are good

Cons:

BUT…A very tired resort that needs a serious upgrade. Room: paint chipped on many surfaces. Towel rail has been replaced, however the new rail had been attached without painting the wood..bath towels are very thin and faded with marks on them..they are navy blue but stains can be seen. Shower has a white sediment on the glass door, the black metal and the shower head. The rug keeps buckling and makes a trip hazard. The room was a bit smelly on arrival and we had to get our key reprogrammed 3 times and had trouble opening the door at all times. The batteries needed replacing..very annoying Pool towels very thin too!
When paying $945 for 2 nights in a studio room I thought the room was very poor and didn’t meet expectations for the $ spent.
Breakfast was just average, we even cancelled our breakfast for the second day!

Extremely disappointed. The rating and description by booking.com very misleading.
Pros:

Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast ok

Cons:

For a 5 star rated accommodation at à premium price of over $620 for one night extremely poor.
I would rate it at 3 star max.
Bathroom in need of repair. The shower not clean. The bed mattress sides have collapsed and needs replacing.
The bedside lamps with loose mounts for the globes.

Room. Limited kitchen crockery andh equipment, bare and not comfy. Dryer broke down the evening before we booked out. Had to take damp washing in suitcase.

Had a lovely time and would definitely go back. Restaurant was a little disappointing but overall would recommend.

Spacious accommodation. Very clean. Location to Cable Beach. Lovely pools and resort, friendly staff.

Cons:

Pools were very cold for small children. Restaurant and bar facilities limited opening and service was intermittent.
