Wonderful staff. Very Nice Area.
The front desk extremely helpful and friendly and treat you so damn well.
My Bonvoy Platinum Elite Status was acknowledged.
I was in Room 1904 and the view of the city was Nice.
They have a $45 + tax destination fee but the return is more than worth it, unlike other hotels that charge you junk resort fees.
The hotel is beautiful and rooms are spacious
The staff was so so. Usually staff at St Regis are amazing, but this time, they weren’t as attentive or responsive
Great property in a great location! Everything I expect from this lovely brand, my first choice every time we travel!
The only thing I would say needs improvement is the breakfast service - especially on weekends, not sure if that’s because of fewer staff? Was extremely slow and waiters seemed lost
Location is very good, the atmosphere in the common areas is fine, however, not as good as other St. Regis properties. The restaurant and bar are on first floor and relatively not noteworthy. The service for lunch and breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. The service at the bar in the evenings was inconsistent. Overall the room was good and the housekeeping staff was fantastic. The bathroom setup was a little odd as the door to the toilet didn't close all the way. The value was not great for price paid but the stay was good. The room was very clean and turn down service was excellent. The noise level was good and no issue at all. Overall a solid, if not exceptional, option to stay in San Fran.
My wife and I chose The St. Regis San Francisco to celebrate my birthday, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Astor Suite, and the butler service made the stay feel even more special. Robson Boscarioli welcomed us to the suite, gave us a thoughtful introduction to its features, and arranged complimentary pressing. Later that evening, butler Arjun Saud surprised us with macarons, fresh fruit, and a personalized birthday message waiting in our room.
One of our favorite touches was returning from dinner to find the room beautifully prepared for the evening. The turndown service, relaxing music, and pillow spray created such a welcoming atmosphere.
I'd also like to thank Chief Concierge Daniel Rey, whose communication before our arrival helped make the celebration feel special from the very beginning.
The hotel is beautiful, but what really stood out was the hospitality. Every interaction—from the concierge team and butlers to the front desk staff, felt warm, genuine, and attentive.
Thank you to everyone at The St. Regis San Francisco for helping make my birthday celebration so memorable. We truly appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and look forward to returning.
lovely hotel
I recently visited San Francisco with my daughter for a birthday weekend, and our experience at the St. Regis was phenomenal.
Prior to our arrival, the hotel proactively reached out to gather details about our trip. I mentioned the birthday celebration and noted my daughter's allergy to down pillows. The execution upon our arrival was flawless: we found a thoughtful birthday note and macrons waiting for her, and the beds were already equipped with the requested hypoallergenic pillows. Even by the high standards expected of the St. Regis brand, the staff's attention to detail and overall service were absolutely impeccable.
The accommodations themselves were modern, exceptionally clean, and luxurious. Additionally, both the food quality and the service at breakfast were great.
Overall, this is a very nice hotel that executes perfectly on the details. Highly recommended.
Excellent luxury property in SF
Rooms large by SF standards
Excellent accommodating staff which went out of their way to be helpful
Bar service very good
Room furnishings neutral and pleasing
Location near art museum and Market St excellent
Rooms could use a little refresh
Carpet was stained
Area deserted at night but that reflects the state of SF more than the hotel specifically
Pros: I went for a medical convention in the Moscone Center so the location was unbeatable for these purposes. Visited the SFMoMA next door. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly, and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and full of natural light. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjusted. Food and cocktails were particularly impressive. The fitness center and pool are open 24/7--a big perk.
Cons: A couple of blocks south of the hotel can feel seedy and unsafe, particularly at night. Had a few issues with the wi-fi signal and speed.
Quarto Aconchegante no meio da cidade
Nothing i never stayed in the third party room you set up. And was canceled and authorized by St Regis to be canceled
The fact that you third party company still took money from my card when the reservation was canceled
The St. Regis San Francisco sets the standard for exceptional hospitality. The service was truly the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel—every member of the team, from the valet to the concierge and butlers, was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was delicious, and the house car added an extra layer of convenience that made getting around effortless. An outstanding experience from start to finish.
Very good location and spacious rooms.
Bar and restaurant was opened near the lobby made it very loud to speak to the staff and concierge.
Location great
Room fine
Staff pretty bad
One lady on reception checking me out saved it, otherwise checkin and restaurant staff shocking
Nice, bed, bathroom and amenities
The aspa was not working
My son and I were looking for an apartment for my son in San Francisco as he is moving up north. We decided on the St. Regis based on a friend's recommendation. We were disappointed in a couple aspects of our stay. The first was that the restaurant in the hotel was closed as work was being done on the floors. We were not notified of the closure ahead of time. They had a side room available for food but it was not in keeping with a 5 star hotel.
A further issue occurred when my son went up to use the sauna and steam room in the spa. After an exhausting day trooping around the City, he went up only to find the Spa was also closed for renovations. Again there was no prior notification. Had we known that the restaurant and spa were closed, we would have chosen the Ritz Carlton which was our other option.
A small note on the room, the bathroom had mold/mildew on the bottom metal railing of the shower. Gross and, again, not in keeping with a 5-star hotel.
Lastly, when I was checking out, the front desk clerk asked about our stay. Since he asked.....when I mentioned the issues, he asked if there was anything he could do and spouted out some absurd comment about his high level of seniority. I thought for a second and then asked if he could waive the facility fee since we hadn't been interested in using the food credit attached to the facility fee in a small room that wasn't actually meant as a restaurant. His response was that management doesn't like to waive the facility fee so he couldn't waive it (despite his high level of seniority). I wanted to tell him that guests don't like to commit to 5 star hotels that claim to have a restaurant and spa only to find out they don't. But, I decided to let it go and on future trips to visit my son, simply go to the Ritz where I know from prior experience I won't have any of these issues.
We would like to express my gratitude to Jolene and Vivian Jaya for their kind support and professional service.
