Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, einer der besten Frühstücksbuffets in Japan.
Pros:

Großes, sehr vielfältiges und hochwertiges Frühstücks Buffet (waren in vier 4-5 Sterne Hotels in Honshu/Japan, das Buffet hier übertrifft alles!). Angenehme Atmosphäre, ruhig und viel grün. Sehr freundliches Personal. Tolle Kaffee und Getränke Stationen. Angenehmer Yukata. Großer Balkon im Eckzimmer.

Cons:

Vergisst man das Cleaning Schild rauszuhängen, wird weder das Geschirr sauber gemacht noch der Boden gesaugt (und nach dem Vormittag kann es auch nicht nachgeholt werden). Also einfach dran denken, das Schild ab und zu rauszuhängen! Es wird einem auch ausführlich beim Checkin erklärt (das Personal spricht sehr gut Englisch)

Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Hotel, das aus unserer Sicht definitiv 5 Sterne verdient! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam, herzlich und hilfsbereit – man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gearbeitet wird.

Besonders begeistert hat uns die liebevolle Gastfreundschaft: Kostenlose Getränke und Snacks zwischendurch sind eine wunderbare Aufmerksamkeit, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Auch das öffentliche Bad war sehr sauber, entspannend und eine tolle Erfahrung.

Die authentische Atmosphäre, der exzellente Service und die vielen kleinen Details machen dieses Hotel zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

三世代旅行には値段もお得に感じる宿泊だった。
Pros:

1歳半の子を遊ばせるのにちょうどよいスペースがあってよかった。孫を連れての旅行だったので、寺社巡りだけでなく、隣が水族館と鉄道博物館があり、水族館で大喜びをした。

Außergewöhnliches Konzept - wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen
Pros:

Grandioses Konzept. Oase in der Stadt (Nach ein paar überfüllten Sehenswürdigkeiten merkt man erst wie sehr man das braucht). Schön für Kinder. Design der Aufenthaltsräume wirkt im ersten Moment etwas puristisch, aber trägt zu der entspannten Atmosphäre bei. Außergewöhnlich: „Hol dir einfach was“ gratis Getränke und Knabbereien für fast den ganzen Abend. Inklusive Wein, Bier, Whisky und das durchprobieren im hauseigenen Sake Lab. Frühstück lecker mit guter Auswahl für viele Nationen (60% japanisch, 30% international + indische Currys)

Loved the curry and Nutella. Minestrone soup was an interesting breakfast option.

Fantastic reasonably priced hotel with lovely staff
Pros:

After a long day we arrived early and were greeted by a very smiley, helpful gentleman on the desk who sorted out luggage storage until we could check in.

This was the largest hotel room that we had in Japan. Very clean, comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the park. There is a fantastic onsen although not natural springs and it’s free for hotel guests. There are several little communal areas. We enjoyed the music zone with record players and a selection of vinyl discs. There’s also an area with games and a great space for children with a table tennis table and mini ball pit.

The staff were very helpful and kind. Helped with our luggage transfer when we struggled with adding the forwarding address.
Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and can be taken out to eat in your own room if you wish.
It’s a great location. Near a train with one stop taking you to Kyoto station and to Arashiyama in the other direction.
