Cleanness and needs some updates
Other long term guests were friendly. Location was ideal.
The room wasn't clean, the driveway was half blocked by a UHaul truck the whole time. The bathroom floor was definitely "soft" I'm not a carpenter but would say rotted. The wall, doors could use a good scrubbing.
Friendly staff. Breakfast area is nice. Very good restaurant next door.

Great value for what you get. Clean and comfy and close to the road but still quiet in the room.
This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Everything was dirty, broken, old and neglected. The bathroom was covered in mold and mildew, and the carpet in the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. I genuinely felt disgusted touching anything in the room, including the bed, shower and bathroom.
The pictures on Booking are completely misleading and look nothing like the actual place. The worst part is that I paid basically the same price as another hotel I stayed at the next day, which was excellent. This place was a complete dump in comparison.
I had no other option and had to stay the night, but I kept waking up feeling uncomfortable and grossed out by how filthy everything was. This place is absolutely unacceptable.

Room, not clean properly, chairs, bathroom, sofa and bed clearly over used, one pillow very flat, in the website said breakfast, in the sign at our arrival said Continental Breakfast, went to look at it, just coffee and bread, that by the way at time I was leaving a person staying has to made the coffee, asking at the staff there how much coffee to put in the machine.

Location is fine - Price is reasonable - Environment is a bit messy but I guess it’s a motel so can’t complain much - Free breakfast at the reception from 7am - 9am (cereals, milk, hot beverages, waffles, yogurt)
No kettle in the room - it’s very in convenient for boiling water in case you wanna drink tea or coffee
I stayed here twice once on the way out to the Rockies and once on the way back and I told myself if it’s rough I’ll pay the extra and find somewhere else as the reviews were mixed and for the price I thought I would take the chance.
The first time I stayed was absolutely fine, definitely tired and could do with a thorough clean but bang for your buck for a overnight stay that’s just breaking up the drive.. so I kept the second booking.
The second time was in a different room on the RHS of the complex and I have a feeling this is the area that has the bad reviews… an instant odour of stale sweat and cigarette smoke, stained carpets, old sheets and an air conditioner that roared like a motorcycle.
To top it all off Kamloops were on a no drinking water boil notice due to a water main bust, not the motels fault but I did not find this out from them I was told by the Arbys next door…. I would say if you’re a big roulette fan stay here because you really could get one or the other haha
The bed was good.
There is so much clutter on the outside.
