Pros:

The bed was comfortable. It had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, which was nice. The staff are very responsive to messages on Booking.com, which I appreciated.

Cons:

They didn’t give me enough towels or make up removal moist towels. The room was set up very strange and I couldn’t watch TV from the bed because of the way the TV was bolted, so I had to sit on the small couch, which wasn’t the most comfortable, which was annoying. The walls are paper, thin and I could hear basic conversation, and also the toilet flushing and running shower water from the rooms above me, almost as if they were showering or using the restroom in my actual room all throughout the night, which was definitely annoying. I couldn’t believe how loud it was. It was almost like I was in an immersive experience, but it was not a happy one. There’s only one shower door, which means water goes all over the floor and it just doesn’t make sense. Getting to the room was absolutely ridiculous and like a maze. The way the whole hotel is set up just doesn’t make sense and finding the door to check in at night was crazy as well. It just wasn’t a very convenient stay overall. There’s a hospital or a fire department close by because I heard sirens all night and couldn’t sleep. They need a bell downstairs at the front desk. If the staff aren’t going to be out front 24 hours. At one point, I had to find security guard to find a staff so I could pay for water from the marketplace which honestly should’ve been complementary given the price of the room. No lunch hours offered at the restaurant in the hotel.

For the cost of this hotel, which by the way I think was way overpriced for the value I shouldn’t have this many complaints. I also thought $200 for a security deposit was a little pricey given the already expensive stay.  I don’t think I would stay at this Marriott courtyard again.
