Please be aware that Mercure Northampton no longer has a swimming pool and wet facilities. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be presented upon check-in. Please be aware a maximum of two guest requiring assistance (due to any form of disability or impairments) is permitted at the hotel on any given night due to fire, life safety policies, relating to the safe and appropriate time required to facilitate evacuation. Any guests that will require assistance from the hotel team to safely evacuate the property in case of an emergency for an overnight stay must state this at booking stage. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to confirm if this is possible and the booking will not be guaranteed until actioned by the hotel and contact will be made to the guest from a front of house team member. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was reassuring to be able to park in a secure car park. The location was handy for the town centre
A small point but the arrow on the pass key should be more prominent black not silver especially when using it to work the lift
Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Cashless so had to put everything on a card. Prior to visit they advised no food but were serving when I arrived.

The location is an ideal base for exploring what Northampton has to offer. I originally come from Northampton so my trip was not for exploring and I am familiar with the hotel. Breakfast was very good and decent price £12. Staff all very friendly.
Not much not to like, bed is massive and very comfy, carpet possibly could do with a clean, it smelt a bit but that's the only negative comment
