Please be aware that Mercure Northampton no longer has a swimming pool and wet facilities. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be presented upon check-in. Please be aware a maximum of two guest requiring assistance (due to any form of disability or impairments) is permitted at the hotel on any given night due to fire, life safety policies, relating to the safe and appropriate time required to facilitate evacuation. Any guests that will require assistance from the hotel team to safely evacuate the property in case of an emergency for an overnight stay must state this at booking stage. My room was very cold in that I had to leave in the middle of the night/morning. All upgrade rooms were sold out by the receptionist even if booking .com said they were still available.

The loud radio music during breakfast - I appreciate it was a “soul radio station” but I didn’t want to listen to “ band of gold “ and the best of 90’s Tina Tuner at breakfast- it felt cheesy and like a 90’s night club versus a breakfast vibe 😜

Dynamic pricing is ridiculous. £90 one night 250 the next. Really put me off.

The property was very central to the town centre easy to find.
We went for the room with the extra large double bed, which was huge.
The room was clean and the bathroom had very pleasant toiletries supplied .
Excellent shower and even a heated mirror, which didn’t steam up for your shave afterwards.
Always grates on me but as a hotel guest, I don’t expect to pay to park.
This was a £10 edition to our booking.
