Located close enough to walk to shops and restaurants in the village. Staff was very nice. Private garage just for adara hotel guests. Beds comfortable.
The bars surrounding the hotel are super loud ( club dance music) and keep music blaring until early AM hours. Need a sound machine to drown out the noise. It was disappointing when you need sleep to get an early start for hiking and planned outings but bar noise keeps you up or keeps waking you up.
Fantastic location and very clean!! Exactly what we needed for our stay in Whistler.
Nothing
The property is very close to the village, clean, and their staff are friendly.
The property has limited parking space, but they will do their best to eventually give a parking space for you.
The cookies was gas and they got nice rooms with stairs and stuff
The pools were kinda mid they had like dead bugs and stuff they needa get them covers on that
Oh and like coffee would be fire
Unfortunately, this hotel was not what we expected. The photos online make it look much nicer than it actually is.
Check-in was quick and easy, and the young lady at the front desk was very polite and welcoming.
We stayed in a loft suite, which had a nice layout but was quite run down. The furniture was worn with noticeable marks and signs of wear, and the hallways and elevator didn't appear to be very clean. The upstairs loft also doesn't have a fan, so all of the heat rises, making our "bedroom" upstairs 27°C overnight. The small deck was a nice feature, but it would have been much more enjoyable with proper patio furniture instead of inexpensive plastic chairs. I also think adding a kitchenette to the loft suites would make them much more family-friendly.
One unusual feature was the fire door in the upstairs loft that opens into a sketchy hallway. I've never seen anything like that in a hotel room before, and it felt odd.
The pool area was also disappointing. To access it, you have to walk through the edge of the restaurant patio, and once you're in the pool, everyone dining on the patio can watch you swim. The pool itself wasn't very clean and had quite a bit of debris from the overhanging trees.
Another downside was the amount of noise around the hotel. The area seemed to attract a lot of late-night activity and felt more like a party district than a relaxing place to stay. Between the street noise and the surrounding nightlife, it was difficult to enjoy a quiet evening.
Underground parking was another downside. At $36 per day, it was expensive, the parking stalls were very tight, and the parkade is also used to store the restaurant's garbage, bottles, and recycling, so it had a strong unpleasant smell.
The one positive was the location, which was very convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the overall experience. The numerous drawbacks outweighed the one major benefit, and we won't be returning.
There was an issue with our room initially and they addressed it within minutes and were super friendly and accomodating.
Very friendly staff!!
Close to all restaurants and bars. Great location
Our 1 bed suite was a very good size with comfy sofa and small kitchenette. Walk-in shower was great. Outdoor pool was warm and quiet all of the time we were there. Location was perfect for Whistle Village and only 200m from the lake trail which was mostly flat and worth the walk to the Lost Lake.
Our room did not have the balcony as advertised.
Perfect location, kind staff, clean and comfortable. Fresh cookies for us every day!
