A hotel in Paradise
Pros:

Only thing wrong with this visit was that we had to leave! Our stay in Sorrento was perfect, largely because of the accommodations here. Our suite was a dream and we wanted for nothing. The views were stunning, the location perfect, the food was great the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. A special thanks to the front desk staff who helped us with a very unfortunate situation and who were so sweet to me.

This is a place I hope to visit again! Grazie Mille!

Five Star Excellence
Pros:

We were sad to leave such a wonderful hotel after a week's stay. We can't wait to return. Excellent and professional staff who looked after us so very well, Antonella from housekeeping, Franco and the team at breakfast and dinner, the two Guiseppe's at the spiaggia, and Anna, Alessandro, Fredinando and Giancarlo on the terrace. Fantastic hotel
Pros:

We had an absolutely incredible time at Grand Hotel Ambasciatori. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. The hotel grounds are spectacular--so beautiful and so many different options where you can relax and enjoy the incredible view. The private beach was incredible. The food was very good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stunning hotel, but 1 complaint
Pros:

The Ambasciatori is stunning and ticks all the boxes for perfection on so many levels, so I won't repeat what others have posted. My only complaint is that the hotel, unlike other 5 Star hotels, does not provide hotel shuttle service to/from the port. We had to pay 50 euros for round-trip taxi transportation. Other than that, our stay was phenomenal.

The pool and beach area were fantastic! The sea and sunset views were spectacular! The chamber maids were also excellent! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very attentive and friendly!

Cons:

The property was a little far out from the old town, having spent most of the day out and about exploring! It would be helpful if there was a shuttle service. Additionally for the price the TVs could do with an upgrade to be smart TVs to allow streaming/casting! The beach club lunch menu could also do with a bit more variety! It’s a limited menu for a multi day stay!

Beautiful cliffside resort in Sorrento
Pros:

The GHA is a wonderful hotel set atop a cliff and looking out at Mount Vesuvius, with a glamorous and majestic feel. It is located within walking distance of central Sorrento, but far enough away to have a calm, serene feel.

The garden lounge is peaceful, overlooking the Bay of Naples and the mountain, and a perfect place to read a book, enjoy a cocktail, or simply enjoy the stunning scenery. The stand-out, however, is the private beach. Accessible by an elevator built into the cliff and through a stone walkway, the beach area features an elevated dock with loungers and sun umbrellas, and a private swimming area protected by rocks. The beach club staff are a dream - friendly, attentive, and kind - and I enjoyed seeing them each day.

During my 5-day visit, I stayed in a suite which featured an entry foyer with two large closets, a lounge area with sofa and desk, a very comfortable king sized bed, and a small balcony with two chairs. The room was comfortable and quiet, and I loved the small details, such as USB charging ports throughout the space.

One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. The dining area has a bank of windows that face Mount Vesuvius, offering a fantastic morning view. The food was tasty - omelettes and pancakes were a highlight, as was the fruit bar and selection of cheeses. As with the beach club, the staff in the dining area and throughout the hotel were a dream.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Ambasciatori to others.

Pros:

Perfekt gelegen, traumhaft schönes Haus, sehr traditionell italienisch eingerichtet, herrliche Gartenanlage .
Wunderbare schattige Plätze mit einem exzeptionellen Blick auf den Vesuv. Das bietet selbst Capri nicht 😉

Es war perfekt!

Immer internationale Musik.
So ein paar italienische Balladen abends wären auch schön gewesen.
