Very clean and the staff was really nice!

I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel has such positive cleanliness reviews. We booked this place specifically because cleanliness was rated well, and what we walked into was disgusting.
The room was visibly dirty and poorly maintained. There was built-up grime and dirt along the baseboards, disgusting carpeting, and areas that looked like mold/mildew or years of accumulated filth. I took photos because honestly, I couldn’t believe this was considered an acceptable hotel room.
We’re traveling with a toddler, so cleanliness isn’t something I’m willing to compromise on. This room made me immediately question whether anything had actually been properly cleaned between guests.
This is not just an “older hotel” issue. Old is one thing. Dirty is another. A worn carpet or dated decor doesn’t bother me nearly as much as walking into a room that looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned.
We were exhausted from traveling and just wanted a clean, comfortable place to sleep. Instead, we got a room that was so disgusting that I regretted booking it almost immediately.
Very disappointed. I would absolutely not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic cleanliness. The reviews led me to believe this was a clean place to stay, and our experience was the complete opposite.
Very good breakfast, delicious and well prepared
My wife and I arrived at the hotel around 2:05 pm and attempted to check in. The clerk was rude and told us to come back in 35 minutes or so. I asked why and she said there were no rooms available. The hotel and parking lot were empty then and for the rest of our stay. Clearly, there were an abundance of rooms but, she wanted us to wait until 3:00. We won’t be staying there again.

The 1st floor lobby area heading to the first floor rooms could have used a good mopping. The room had a bit of a musty smell.

Friendly staff even though was issues. The mangers seem to be understanding and seen I was upset they did say they was sorry for my experience and tried the best to make it better. Since they did that I would come back and recommend this hotel.
Disappointed when arriving in a major thunderstorm had to wait for a long while to get checked in due to a key getting lost. Then the next day our key didn't work. Also better placement for a room with a child since we had a compliment against us for her walking on the floor.
