Erholsamer und genussreicher Aufenthalt im Elea Beach Hotel
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, direkt am Strand und der Ort Dassia ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar mit seinen Restaurants und Supermarkets. Die Autovermietung " Helga" in Dassia ist sehr empfehlenswert, unkompliziert und preiswert. Die Frühstücks-und Abendessenbuffets sind sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig, es wird laufend wieder aufgefüllt. Die Darbietungen am Abend in der Bar sind unterhaltsam. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Nach dem Checkout am letzten Tag, konnten wir nochmals den Strand und Pool mit anschliessender Dusche beim Fitnessraum benutzen. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben.

Cons:

Das Zimmer für 3 Personen war eng. Die Frottiertücher im Bad wurden automatisch jeden Tag gewechselt, was wir als nicht nötig und nicht nachhaltig empfanden. Die Liegestühle am Strand sind mit einem Stahlseil befestigt, was ein Ausrichten nach dem Schatten teils verunmöglichte.

Dassia Corfu avoid if possible ( Disaster )
Pros:

Elea Beach Hotel should not be a 4**** hotel to start with Possible 3*** at the best the location was poor with nothing around like shops we did find 2 supermarkets there the streets were dirty with rubbish and old abandoned cars.We found the atmosphere was zero apart from the entertainment clown who at times was a nuisance especially when you were trying to eat.The room was okay really only had 3 issues with it a round plate that covered live electrical wires missing not good if you had a toddler and then the smell from the hotels open drains and sewage area at the side and the fact the tea,coffee & sugar was not replenished after your first day we had to buy our own coffee and milk from the supermarket luckily the room had a small fridge.Was the Elea good value just short of 2K £ no im afraid it was not even though there was a choice of food it was never hot, inadequate sun canopies around the pools and as usual the same old problem of towels on the sunbeds.Rats we did see them around the gardens in the holes of the olive trees and they had a nest in the roof above the entrance to the reception from the pool area which gave the rats access to all the 1st floor balconies and rooms over looking the pool.The beach was very poor with dangerous steps down to it beach was also dirty.Taxis were expensive avoid them at all cost to travel into Corfu approx 6miles was 54 euros public transport bus number 7 was 2.50 euro but not quick.

Amazing holiday!
Pros:

We just arrived back from what was a wonderful week at the Elea beach hotel. I travelled with my husband and our 15 year old and 18 year old sons. The hotel suited us all, it was immaculate, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds changed. There was plenty of choice at the restaraunt and the hotel is at a great location.
We were right on the beach where there were plenty of water sports to choose from.
The front was also dotted with Tavernas so if you fancy a change from the hotel you can.
Pool and darts and table football available, as well as a packed entertainments programme. Water aerobics in the sea at 11.3O I enjoyed that) and evening entertainment from
live music, to fire throwing to traditional Greek night.

SPECIAL THANKS to Simo!the entertainments manager! What a fun guy! He got to know all the guests young and old and works tirelessly to ensure everyone is having a great time!

Dassia village is a very short walk where you can catch the bus into Corfu town and Ipsos beach (which we did)
We took a boat trip one day from Dassia to Kasiopi with Asteral, I can really recommend this, plenty of stops for snorkelling in caves and a BBQ on the beach was part of the cost of the trip. We also saw the filming location for James Bond and the Durrels original family home.

We also took another boat trip with Magdalena, this time a sunset pirate ship cruise down to Corfu fort and watched the planes land over sunset, cocktail and finger food included in this price.

We would love to return as we have made memories that will last forever.

Lovely week away!
Pros:

We came here for my 40th birthday as we wanted no fuss and somewhere to relax for a week. We paid extra for a sea view room and was worth every penny for the views. Very peaceful first thing in the morning. I even saw the owner walking with his dogs around the pool early morning before it got busy. The dogs are lovely and no bother at all. There are sunbeds on the beach as part of the hotel which are great. We watched people on the watersports just 100yards outside of the hotel which was entertaining. The lady on reception we dealt with both checking in and out was lovely. The bar staff were equally as helpful and friendly. The selection of drinks was very good. There wasn't as much choice of food compared to the other hotels we've stayed at but the quality was really good. The entertainment guy was worth his weight in gold, he kept everyone entertained all day and into the night and was full of enthusiasm. This was our first time to Corfu and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would stay here again. ❤️
