Beautiful hotel, nice pool, big comfy rooms, the grounds of the hotel were stunning, staff were helpful, tea, coffee, kettle and fan in rooms
There is a 12.5% charge on food (this is wrote on bottom of menu but I never noticed it so my own fault) I just didn't think the food or service deserved a 12.5% charge, we were waiting 1.5 hours for food so I cancelled desert as we had to leave (there was a wedding in so we're busy I would not let this put me off going back) I would definitely return

Reception are poorly laid out
Wonderful setting and incredibly spacious bedroom.
Best gym , sauna ,steam room and pool ever.
Both receptionists were very courteous and helpful.
Windows needed a little attention.
Coffee was not hot at buffet breakfast

De wegen naar het hotel waren smal en gevaarlijk…

beautiful location and really decent facilities - especially the gym - stocked with good machines and free weights - and sauna / steam room. All of the staff seemed lovely and good at their jobs. The bed was really comfortable.
Staff were stretched thin trying to cover all stations of responsibility. Thus, there was often a long wait to even see someone at the bar to ask for a coffee. i feel perhaps the luxury of the hotel is not extended to the staffs treatment by the company. oh and wifi wasn’t great
Location is good. Very picturesque. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's general fitting and fixtures need updating. Seemed that the hotel's SPA facilities and bar were extremely well used by locals.
Wifi was very poor. It is more annoying to have poor wifi than no wifi at all. If you are going to provide it, then do it well. This is generally true for most hotels. No hot water on day 1 of my stay but that was fixed by day 2.
Grounds and building look beautiful
Bed base was very old and stained. No hot water in the morning, reception said the have a boiler issue.
Ļoti patika baseins, saunas un burbuļbaseins. Patika apkārtējā vide. Klusums un miers. Patika interjērs retro stilā visa viesnīca. Skaisti.
Nu tā. Gribēju it kā noklusēt, izteikšos gan. Pirmais, kas mani un sievu sašokēja, tas bija istabas izvietojums trešajā stāvā. Vārdsakot mansarda telpā- bēniņos. Bija jākāpj pa spirāļveida kāpnēm augšā. Mana sieva ir dabētiķis. Viņsi bija grūtības ar staigāšanu augšā un lejā. Kāpnes nedrošas. Administrācijai tomērt būtu jāpievērš tam uzmanība, kam šāda tipa numuriņu piedāvāt.
Nākamais:
Brokastu process nepatika. Šaurība. Maz sēdvietu pie galdiņiem. Daudzi cilvēki, atnākot gaidīja rindā uz sēdvietu pie galdiņiem. Darbinieki nespēja novākt lietotos traukus. Galdi aizkrauti ar lietotiem traukiem. Brokastīs pietrūka ēdiens. Ja ilgi gulētājs atnāca nedaudz vēlāk, gandrīz nebija ko ēst. Visu ātri noēd, kas atskrien pirmie. Nu, droši vien otreiz es gan negribētu te atpūsties.
Middle of nowhere
Very dated, terrible school dinner type restaurant, spa just a pool with a steam cupboard & sauna at the end, no robes available, had to walk through gym to get in
The size of the bed
No hot water in the room for the duration of our whole stay which is completely unacceptable
The location was peaceful, parts of the hotel were lovely and the swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were great. The staff were friendly and helpful but not enough of them at times.
Sadly parts of the hotel were dated and need a refurb both inside and outside. The restaurant choices were very limited on Friday evening and all of our party had to select alternatives as first choices were not available. There was not enough staff on duty on Friday evening and the young lady did a fantastic job running between the bar and the restaurant to keep everything flowing smoothly.

Having to wait for a table to be cleaned. Also for food to be refilled and drinks. Ok
The venue gave everyone a warm and friendly welcome, the staff worked hard and accommodated everybody's needs with no fuss , had the most amazing stay with family and friends ❤️
Near our brother’s home.
Overall the property was tired. Wall plaster and paintwork needed refreshing in. Woodwork showing age and wear. Room no. 6 has unpleasant stain by bed, hole in the carpet and no plug for the washbasin. When asked for a plug for the wash basin, the manager showed us a plug socket on the bedroom wall!
Neither we or the receptionist could open the door to Room 5, and we were told that there had been trouble to this previously. We were moved to another Room and because it was bigger the manager later tried to charge us more for this room.
