Even though we only stayed one night we felt rejuvenated and will definitely be back.

Pros:

Haven’t stayed here for a while but we were very impressed with the standard of service and quality of rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the restaurant. The spa and pool were also fantastic on a cold, grey afternoon

Cons:

Could do with a few more choices on the wine list.

Very good facilities just a few items to sort and it would be well worth your money!
Pros:

The rooms were very spacious and well orgnaised. I did however find that if you opened the windows there were so many bugs that came in and sat on the roof of the bathroom, so had to keep them closed. There is an area with the balcony and if others sat out there, the noise woudl travel. The rooms needed a bit more softnening with some greenery or the like.

Cons:

I tried to call their customer support line to let them know that I was running late which I was travelling at night. I couldn't get through to their support team so hd to choose a different menu option to get through. Once I passed this message on everything was good.

Barely any "lake view" as advertised, thought maybe an upstairs room for sure, but nope nothing but hedge to view.

It is a Hilton. 'nough said.

Cons:

The secure parking garage, $25 fee, did not open with room key, requiring me to walk up to reception and have an employee walk down to open. At first I just thought it was a bum room key. I was told something about paining or maintenance that would be completed at 5,30, so no worries to get back in. This was simply false. false as I had to go through the same rigamarow.

And honestly, there was not a need to have the door locked, could have been just locked open, or, you know, just tell the guest it is wonky and not working, don't make up a story.

My complaint? Less about the garage door and much more about the dishonesty or lack of clarity from the staff.

I do acknowledge that they reversed the parking charge upon complaint. Eh, dunno, that experience just lacked the usual and expected Hilton polish that merits the cost. This not is more for management than to dissuade anyone from staying there.

Pros:

Lovely greenery and the staff and breakfast were very pleasant. Beds comfortable and the room spacious.

Cons:

The many fire doors to get to your room was a new experience. They didn't cater for two double beds in a room but there was amble room for this to occur in our room.

Cons:

The children not being under control by parents and staff unable to do anything about it. No security in the hotel. People with glass beer bottles in the swimming pool.

My favourite hotel in NZ
Pros:

We stayed in the King room Lake view-Room was great and the bed was amazing.

All staff were amazing and very accommodating with our request.

The buffet breakfast had a great variety and we enjoyed all meals.

It was a lovely room,just wish we could have had time to sit on patio and look at the view

room service good.nice meal.
heating not the best,seemed to blow out more cold than hot air,heating in bathroom not working the option of an extra blanket would have been a bonus(as you may guess I'm a cold soul! Just glad I had my hottie)
