Hilton out of town
Pros:

Spa and pool amazing
Room good

Cons:

No spare pillows blanket and roll toilet paper. Had to ask housekeeping
Room service for two came with one set cutlery. View of lake over car park
Room over underground car park
Water tank filling up somewhere intermittently was noisy
Bistro meal had gnocchi 7 pieces and a pumpkin puree underwhelming $4 a gnocchi
Pancake machine at breakfast would be great like other Hiltons
Invest in a press the button coffee machine as coffee at Brekky horrible
Out of town so you need a car
We did enjoy our stay overall

Great stay. Best hotel in Taupo.
Pros:

Great stay, must be our 5th or 6th stay. Cant beat it. Facilities, food, service.

Pros:

- Room was very spacious, with 2 sofas, 2x TVs and a nice dinner table.
- Great heated swimming and Spa pools, as well as a nice gym and sauna.
- Great private parking (outdoor)

Cons:

- WIFI was very limited and didn't really worked across multiple devices
- King size bed but mattress was not confortable
- Breakfast is good but for that price it could've included Barista coffee
- Room service did not do a good cleaning and neither put more toilet papers in - had to ask reception!

The property is ok, however the location and relatively run down state of the property is a negative
Pros:

The large rooms, beds and bathrooms are good. The property is relatively elevated with a good view of the lake. The pool and gym complex were also good,

Cons:

The property is getting pretty run down and is in need of an upgrade. The location is out of town so you need to be prepared to drive to all destinations from The Hilton.

Pros:

Lovely dinner at restaurant. Pool facilities were very good.

Cons:

Car parking. Had to use bottom carpark which was a long trek for someone in their 80s.
Long walk from reception to room and four doors to enter, plus a lift to get to room.
Room was very spacious but lacked warmth in the decor.
