Hotel, staff and breakfast was amazing. Would stay again 100%
Pros:

We were so lucky to get a complimentary upgrade to a suite.

Cons:

Only thing was that when we arrived we were not able to find a car park space as was full up and didn’t know about the gravel one further down the hill or the underneath parking. Maybe clearer instructions about parking further down before arrival maybe helpful

5 +++ stars great rooms and staff!
Pros:

Fantastic hotel and spotless and I am very fussy when it comes to cleanliness!
Rented a Studio / One bedroom and it was perfect. Well laid out, heated floor and rail in the bathroom and extremely comfortable. The staff were great and we would stay again if we had the chance. Very high standard of hotel.

Very average charging for water which I’ve never seen anywhere else in my travels
Cons:

The meals(breakfast) were below average.
The name Hilton suggest quality just wasn’t here at Taupo.

Excellent location, quality and service.
Pros:

Well laid out, felt safe, clean and all the mod cons in the suite. I was upgraded on arrival and had wonderful room service.

Cons:

The noisy pool activities between 5-7pm with kids making a racket.

An elegant hotel with excellent service and a very comfortable stay
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed was excellent, the room was very clean, and the facilities were of a high standard. The location is convenient, and the staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros:

Everything was perfect within the facility was a great experience.

Cons:

Renovations were started a bit early into the morning hours underneath us which we understand but would have found it more tolerable as a guest if started after 9am

I should of gone closer to the town and the lake!
Pros:

It's a Hilton, it's a bit like McDonald's, you know what you are going to get!

Cons:

I paid extra for a room with a view of the lake, my room was on the ground floor and you really are not able to see the lake.
