Location was great, be careful about advertising and how the accommodation really is.

Hard beds, the shower situation was not ideal especially for an 86 year old. The hair dryer was very poor. The dishes were dirty. We didn’t have any power on the last night which also wasn’t ideal when an 86 year old has to go to the toilet
overnight. The shower diverter broke off and we couldn’t shower, but there was no apology for any inconvenience. Was replaced efficiently enough though. My milk iced up even after having to turn the fridge down.

Good value for money. Perfect location
Pros:

Perfect location and good value for money. There was a lot street noise ( to be expected in the middle of Sydney), but some earplugs helped with that. Good value for money. 3 comfy beds.

Cons:

Nothing, just note you need to take your own tea/ coffee, shampoo/conditioner and laundry pods if you want to use the washing machine.

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. There were unexpected additional charges at checkout, which were not clearly communicated in advance.

Several issues were not addressed during the stay. The bathroom had ongoing problems that were never fixed, and the washing machine was not working at all. Basic amenities were also missing — no soap, hand wash, or shampoo provided.

To make matters worse, the host showed up unannounced and then blamed me for not opening the door, despite the fact I had guests at the time. This created an uncomfortable situation and even prevented me from using the shower when needed.

Overall, the lack of maintenance, poor communication, and disregard for guest privacy made this a frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend looking at other options in Sydney where customer service and value for money are taken more seriously.
