Pros:

I liked the location. It was clean and I felt safe.

Cons:

The sound insulation could be improved. The guests upstairs were very loud and were stomping around. It was a bit disturbing. I was on the ground floor not far from the breakfast area. In the evening until very late, there was a group of people congregating there and their laughing carried into the room.

The water in the shower/tub was not hot enough. It was barely more than luke warm which was very disappointing.

I booked this property by mistake. I wanted the other Holiday Inn Express in Carmel. The other was more convenient to my weekend activities. Had to Uber rather share a rental car with family.

Great experience!!
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten.

Cons:

The only downside was the bathroom in the room had a rusted area behind the door near the floor that needed attention.
