The location.
The cleanliness of our room. Honestly, dirty. We saw TWO roaches inside of our room. The room did not smell "fresh". "New towels had hair from either housekeeping or previous visitors. Our room phone did not work, so we were u able to talk contact the front desk nor housekeeping. Because of this, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and either the front desk didn't communicate or the housekeeping department did not follow through because we never received the towels.

The overall location was good. The lobby area was appealing.
The elevators were both small and slow. The distance to the beach was disappointing. My rental for a balcony was disappointing as it only had one chair and a tiny table. The space was toooo small to sit. The image on the web site is inadequate.
The coffee shop was nice.
We could have had more towels.
We also did not have complimentary breakfast as stated at booking. We were promised breakfast in bold red letters by booking.com but did not get it.

I like that the hotel was not within the hectic atmosphere of the tourist area. It was quiet, had great amenities and the staff was amazing.

When I checked in, the room I had booked through Booking.com was u
navailable—in fact, there was no record of the reservation at all. It took the hotel staff 40 minutes to resolve the issue, and instead of the room with two beds I had originally booked, they gave me a room with just one bed and a couch. They even demanded a $40 deposit. It was a truly unpleasant experience, and I want to hold both Booking.com and the Courtyard Hotel accountable.
They changed my room 3 times due to issues with their door and key card. The lack of properly correcting the issue so we were not back and forth coming to the front desk. Definitely helped our decision to never return to that hotel ever again. It was too expensive and we traveled from out of state to have so many problems with rooms dirty and the other was already occupied.
Is was quiete and peaceful and the room was clean, comfortable and the property was well maintained .
The lobby was nice and the restaurant has very good breakfast and dinner with a bar.
