VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY
Pros:

I stayed here 2 nights a week apart. The first night I was in a room close to the road, but there was not too much noise. The second night I stayed in Room 206, a very quiet corner room. The rooms were good, with a few small faults, but the beds were very comfortable. They also have microwave and fridge. They have a nice pool, which can get very busy, and hot tub. The staff are excellent. The breakfast is continental, but sufficient for most people’s tastes. The free Estes Park Shuttle has a stop very close and runs every 30 minutes.

Great family Vacay here
Pros:

We enjoyed murphy’s resort! The rooms were clean, the kid activities were great and the pool/hot tub area was greatly appreciated after a day of hiking.

Pros:

The room set-up of a two bedroom unit was great!! It was very family friendly and relaxed. They had a local artist play in the outside courtyard by the pool.

Cons:

A hot room. It was unseasonably warm for Estes and the small window unit didn’t keep the back room cool.

A memorable stay at Murphy’s Resort
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at Murphy’s Resort! There are so many amenities right there on the premises: horseshoes, corn hole, swimming pool, hot tub, bikes, Estes Lake within walking distance. Also, Cowboy Roger’s concert music every evening. The continental breakfasts were nice and all the receptionists were so friendly and helpful. We also had an amazing time hiking in the RMNP and shopping in Estes Park. We enjoyed finding the bronze Pikas along the shopping district and seeing the herd of elk around town. We had a truly memorable time and would love to return.

Week Long Stay

Great location - Room was nice and clean - the pool area was great - washer and dryer on site and was convenient to use. We stayed for a week and we enjoyed it. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Will return.

Best Family Resort
Pros:

Our family loved this family oriented resort and would highly recommend staying here! Everyone was so nice and it had a great location. It's near the lake, downtown shops, mountain coaster, and Rocky Mountain National Park. There is so much to do at the resort that is all included such as a heated pool, hot tub, many outdoor and indoor games, and bikes to use on the bike trail that runs right past the resort and around the lake. We enjoyed ending the night listening to songs and stories from Cowboy Rodger and then grabbing a movie and popcorn from the lobby. Also if you dont grab pizza from Antonio's next door you're missing out!

Play it Cowboy Rodger!
Pros:

Stayed 3 nights with a group of 9 and really enjoyed our time at Murphy's. The property is nicely maintained and has a relaxed and casual feel to it. The rooms were clean and some were recently updated. The breakfast spread is simple but has the basics to start your day. Highlight of the stay had to be Cowboy Rodger, a talented local entertainer with a ton of character. He was so great, performed such a wide variety of songs; it was clear he loves what he does and has such an interesting past that he shared throughout his set. It was fun to see people sing along and genuinely enjoy a one of a kind private concert. I'd recommend Murphy's as it was truly a family resort that had something for everyone.

Great Location for Food, National Park and Relaxing
Pros:

Room was really good and we were happy with the door to separate the two beds. The hotel didn't seem to be far from anything we needed. We all definitely enjoyed the hot tub and pool. We also had a jacuzzi in our room. Front desk gave us lavender salts of sorts to use with it. It was very nice after a long day of hiking. You also had the option to check out movies and board games from the front desk.

Cons:

The only thing that was hard was staying cool in the room. We made our visit at the beginning of June. It was hot outside but the air conditioner they had in the window barely cooled down the front room. We had to wait for the sun to set in order to open doors and windows to really cool off. If we had to stay there again though we would be ok to.

Great place for families
Pros:

Rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfortable. The pool was nice. Each unit had an outside seating area
There was a large courtyard with activities for kids. Great for families or family gatherings Free bikes and helmets to check out as well as movies

Pros:

The room was decent (not good not bad). It was clean though. The best part was the extra facilities/amenities like free popcorn, swimming pool and hot tub, games, etc.

Cons:

The room could have been better. The bathroom was too small. Although they sell this as a Resort, the rooms and the structure looked like Motel. In fact the ones next to it looked much better. They were cabins and get a good feeling
